Gary Johnson Gary Johnson just announced that he is running for President

We'd annex you and make you like it!

I'd secret hate it, and you'd never know I'm one of the Mexicans you need to indoctrinate to love the occupying forces. I can blend in very well with my dark blond hair and blue eyes. Well except in Mexico, there I stick out like a sore thumb.

I think it is great news. Both Paul and Johnson are great candidates. The rest of the supposed GOP lineup is just awful.

I know what you Mexicans like (Raiders Football):

We'd give you candy and you'd love us. Just like all the Iraqi do...

In truth, I'm pretty big on everyone being able to maintain their own country's sovreignity, because I think the individual can better impact the policy of a smaller, more local unit. It goes to self determination. How much say do any of US have over what is happening in DC even, much less in global organizations? Gary doesn't seem to share that view, one of the things that makes him a non-starter with me.

Over on the Sean Hannity forums, the libertarians...

Haha. The libertarians at the Sean Hannity forums. :D

Really, the polls have and will continue to speak for themselves. No one trashing Ron Paul at the Hannity forums is to be taken seriously.

I agree with his border issues argument. We barely can defend the Baja border.

You're going to try and govern a state with 111 million angry Mexicans? Good luck!

Good point. California has been a disaster, fiscally.

American candy?!?! Will you throw it from passing Humvees and helicopters? Well why didn't you say so, come right over!

Actually: candy made in Mexico and then imported here.

(The peppermints I bought recently said "Made in Mexico.")

Under my annex plan, those wrappers will say "Made in the State of New Mexico" and then New Mexico the state will be called Old Mexico. Just to show those 111 million who's boss.

If you really want to humiliate us you'd call us the "American State of New Spain"

All we have to do is cut off the benefits for those illegally here and their families. Say coming in that way they can't change status but have to go back and start over. You can't have a welfare state and open borders, and so long as it is a welfare state for illegal immigrants and their families, it is nonsense saying he is leaving it to the free market, he is socializing the cost of underpaid workers is all.

Cut off the benefits and you won't have to talk about militarizing the border except for drugs, etc. and obviously that is a separate issue.

Actually, most don't come here for government benefits. It's jobs. We have cheaper goods in this country because of the illegal workers.
