Free At Last! The next money bomb is ready!!

Are you playing a game here, John? Your response to me was you railing about censorship. Of which, I had nothing whatsoever to do with. Since I did not, why would you imply that I did?

He's learned trollish behavior, Liberty. He can't promote his MLK Jr. agenda with logic, reason and consensus, so he resorts to this type of crap - accusing his enemies of censorship - which is absurd.

Please answer the question, Electric Church

Can you donate, EC? My understanding is that you are a Canadian citizen. Is that correct? If so, the "we" you speak of, needs to be redefined.

Answer the question.

Enemies?

Ugh...

You people are making me sick...

Tell that to people who are of minority background. Go into a black community and say this.

Say to them that Dr. King and Dr. Paul are extraordinary similar.

You really think you will be met with an open embrace?

I am social worker and I have worked in various minority neighborhoods. I can guarantee you will be met with more hostility than politeness. That's a promise!

It's not my fault you would intentionally put yourself into a group and pretend to speak for this group, especially in a situation like this. So you're saying that because Ron Paul is white and Martin Luther King Jr. is black, that if I went into a "black community" they would say there is no way any parallels would fit with these two? That's bull shit. If you want to put yourself into a group go ahead, but don't speak for anyone else.

Race has ZERO to do with this money bomb.

I was skeptical, but if this poster is really who he says he is then this is definitely good and reliable.

Trevor supported this idea as well, though the push there was January 15th, however, 21st is probably the best right now because it's over 30 days from now. There's about as much time as there was for the Tea Party.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MONTH LONG CARPET BOMB IDEA?

To those who are arguing about the MLK day thing -

I'll say the same thing I said about November 5th and a bunch of people hate Guy Fawlkes -

if you do not want to give on that day , then you do not HAVE to! No one is going to put a gun to you head and make you donate on that day!

Y'all really DO need to chill out - the MSM has got everyone PARANOID ! ! ! !

Race has ZERO to do with this money bomb.

As much as I'd like to agree with you, others will definitely see RACE in the picture. I'm sorry but it's true. Not everyone, of course, but I do believe a good amount will give it the racial spin. Tragic.

I don't know what you're talking about. I never implied that you did. I did point out that The Daily Paul censored the post by removing if from the front page. But that wasn't an implication of you. Perhaps you misread?

It was this that you said, John:
It is completely disrespectful, and TOTALLY against the fabric of this movement for a subset of people to be allowed to squelch our voices and take away our means to communicate the message, when the same courtesy wasn't provided for the November 11th people.

You people are wrong to try and stop participation. This campaign is supposed to operate like a free market of ideas, with people either transacting with the idea because they agree or rejecting the idea by not transacting... Or transacting with the idea by COMPETING with it.

But squelching it? Censoring it? It's wrong.

You are implying that I was attempting to censor you. Look at the "you people". If this isn't an implication that you group me in with whomever was responsible for what happened to you on The Daily Paul, then I don't know what is.

I don't deserve that, John.

What about this, are you not understanding? Please read these articles.

Yes, I'm sure those articles are going to be plastered all over the media, right? They would take down an American hero with this shit that distracts away from the good that King did in the area that he died for JUST so they can hurt Ron Paul, right? You're insane. The majority of the American people have a positive view of MLK because of his dedication to freedom and peaceful protest.

they got all kinds of tricks up their sleeves. :)

Who is "they", EC? I notice that you are avoiding answering my question. Are you a Canadian citizen, or an American citizen? As a Canadian citizen, you are unable to donate to this fundraiser.

I don't deserve that, John.

Welcome to the club then. None of us deserve to be treated like "enemies" for our ways of showing support.

But there's no doubt that censorship is taking place. There's no doubt that people are trying to stop others from supporting Dr. Paul in the way that they choose to.

Nobody's gonna stop the Kings from suing whoever put that site up either.

Use your noggin knuckleheads.

Chandler,

Maybe he does with your age group, because that is what you have been taught in school. But, older Americans don't have the same viewpoint. Seriously, they do not. Especially with traditional conservatives. You know, the Goldwater-Republicans. They know this other stuff about MLK. If it weren't for that, I would be all for this too.

To me, this doesn't make sense. We are going to alienate a bunch of traditional conservatives by celebrating this day. We need these people to win the Republican nomination and they are the Republicans that we actually have a chance of getting on our side.
