I just sent AP an email regarding this and mentioning this forum discussion. Here is what I said:

FOX NEWS is manipulating AP stories regarding Ron Paul.

This is outrageous and, I would suspect, against AP terms and conditions.

FOX NEWS is intentionally removing Ron Paul's name from AP news releases.
