Fox News is asking for us to submit evidence of media bias

How about CNN shutting out the soldier? Or Fox News giving Ron those stupid interviews, such as the one with the blonde "newscaster"?

Here's a good one. When Santorum jumped from 5% to 16% in Iowa (Dec 27-28??), it EXPLODED!!!

When Dr. Paul jumped from 9% to 20% a few days ago with ARG, the story was how Newt is gaining on Mitt. Dr. Paul barely received a footnote.....

Give them competitors to bash. Then when they start either the other #presscorpse will strike back at them or we got them by their short and curlies when they pull their shenanigans.

I'm sending them an email highlighting their own biases. As much as CNN and the others suck, foxnews has the majority of republican primary voters and they're the ones who need to be called out the most. Yes I know they probably won't air stuff exposing themselves. When I'm done I'll forward it to the other networks so they can use it against fox.

Have them hire ben swann to provide political coverage on FOXNEWS, not fox business.

i sent an email but can you post what ever you send?

I would show them anything said by Lawrence O'Donnell from MSNBC. He's said some of the harshest things about Ron Paul's campaign I've heard. He's flat out called Ron Paul a fraud, saying that Huntsman was the true 2nd place finisher in NH and that Ron Paul doesn't count. Here's the link. There's plenty more ammo but I thought considering the network it came from and the statement itself, that it'd be good to use.

Sure thing my friend:

Foxnews needs to look in the mirror if they’re interested in seeing examples of media bias. Their treatment of Ron Paul this election has been atrocious. Just a few examples:

- hit piece by the Doocy kid on racist newsletters with zero mention of the fact that the head of the Austin, TX NAACP has been defending Ron Paul for 20 years. He states that Ron Paul is not a racist and that more people should listen to him. Also, no mention of how Ron Paul polls better with minorities than all the other GOP candidates. “Fair and Balanced?” Here are some links for next time (because we all know you hacks will bring this up again if Ron does well in South Carolina or others):
http://ronpaulflix.com/category/racism/

-number of times a Foxnews host or anchor says “Ron Paul can’t win..” “Concerns about electability...” “Won’t win a single primary...” “Not top tier...” and look at where he is now? 2nd place overall and surging in South Carolina, even IN SPITE OF YOUR BIASED COVERAGE. O’Reilly admitted the other day he didn’t like Ron Paul because “He engages in too many personal attacks”, which is complete bullshit but at least its just an opinion. Hannity, Huckabee, Bill Kristol, Steve Deace, O’Reilly, Hume, Krauthammer, Dick Morris all routinely do everything they can to downplay and discredit his poll numbers. Here’s one pathetic example from “Senior Political Analyst” Brit Hume:

Not news?:

Why not let the voters decide?

This is just pathetic:

If any other GOP candidate had such a monstrous advantage in military donations it would be headline news. Somehow Ron Paul getting 2x as much active duty military $$$ as all the other Republicans combined doesn’t get discussed much, and when it does it’s “surprising”.

You should know that I was actually a Foxnews fan in the late 90s and early 00's. Used to watch OReilly and Hannity regularly. Then you guys morphed into the pro-war news channel and I wisened up.

And as long as I have this written I might as well send it to CNN, NBC and the other “news” networks.

Too harsh? At least someone in their newsroom will read it before hitting the delete button.

We have a whole forum devoted to this. And we pulled a bunch of stuff for 'Black this out' and there are pictures of polls where Ron is in second or third and is simply left off of the screen graphic....

And of course there are those Pew and Minnesota edu studies of lack of coverage earlier when other candidates were being introduced to the country.

I don't really think calling people "hacks" when you are responding to their call for media bias is very helpful.

sounds like they want us to spend hours of our time not calling or doing local activism. Sounds like a distraction. Sounds like they need to be ignored.

i think sending a few links (like those in this thread and the Media Bias forum) wouldn't take much more than a few minutes. If we all sent the links in Elwar's post, that would probably be enough. Just don't waste too much time on it; PFH and local activism will get more votes than pleading with Fox to be objective (but worth a shot IMHO).

Have them count how many times they have said Ron Paul unelectable vs every other candidate

I understand your concern. I considered toning it down, but really them asking for examples of media bias is kind of disingenuous when they're pumping out propaganda at the rate they are. Sometimes I think its a good thing for them to know people are pissed, rather than just calmly pointing out their shortcomings.
