They just did.Fox News hasn't even mentioned it. Lame
It would be epic if Sorenson actually decided to join the campaign for the next five days for no money.
That's what he's doing, apparently. So yeah: epic! I think it helps a lot because it torpedoes the media narrative of only (crazy people / pot smokers / dirty hippies / racists / whatever ) supporting Ron Paul. Conservative Iowa state senator... that good enough credentials for you, MSM?
Call me a little skeptic, but I have this feeling this was a intentional move and not for Paul's benefit. Here's why. Earlier today there was talk the evangelicals were trying to talk Santorum or Bachmann to drop out because they were diluting the christian vote. Now, what if those talks broke down between the two candidates, but they were able to talk to Sorenson in secret to leave Bachmann for Paul as a strategic move to make her campaign look weak in the eyes of voters in hopes of those voters jumping ship to
Santorum since his numbers are going up and he could possibly make a run for 3rd place.
I think all along the GOP has been hoping for a Santorum bump that never materialized until now and they need another anti-Romney choice to dilute Ron's surge. Since Gingrich is losing steam, they need Santorum now more than ever. I'm just smelling a rat in all of this and I just can't buy into this fully that it was a sincere move on Sorenson's part without strings.
According the the last PPP poll, most of her votes would go to Santorini.
Smells like a conspiracy theory, Mrs. Bachmann!. @TeamBachmann says Sorenson told her he was offered large sum of money to join Ron Paul. #iacaucus

This was political suicide for Sorenson. The establishment will look very harshly upon him and Sorenson knew this before making his announcement.
It's a major boost to Paul's campaign, which has been dogged by criticism from establishment Republicans that his support here was largely among Democrats and independents.
Not true
Bachmann supporter's 2nd choices (PPP Poll) are:
RP 31%
Santorum 27%
Gingrich 21%
Romney 9%
Perry 9%
