Right now RP is at 13%, in 08' he only got less than 4%, this state for some reason is like Florida and doesn't represent the states to come afterwards. Newt winning leaves Romney with only one state won, Santorum will drop out soon. Keep perspective, there is nobody else to support other than Ron Paul, he will pick up steam after Florida. Keep tonight and Florida's election in perspective. Has anyone been to either S. Carolina or Florida lately? I now live in Florida and let me tell you... lmao.

The states where he has the ground game, he does well.

Nevada, Minnesota, Washington, Maine, Colorado, South Dakota..........

Yeah South Carolina and Florida should be skipped all together, they are overly represented by a generation that is fading out. Tonights results show a party and people even in this state trending towards liberty and freedom. Triple 08' results. Even this state is ours to come very soon

It will still win some delegates. It`s still early but Ron Paul could end up very close to 3d place, getting about same number of delegates as Santorum.

The problem is that the perception of momentum was huge. This is a definite set back, and Florida will be as well. We better win some states in early February, the more the better. If not, we can only look forward to an independent run or...I don't know...a pointless convention speech, and watching our few delegates get treated like crap again at the GOP convention?

exactly. Then we run ads on tv in Minnesota for GOP caucus attendees? What a fricking waste of money. ID the attendees by phone and call them get ours out etc. Stupidity.
SC was a waste of money that could've been better spent on a caucus state.

Think about the improvements from 2008. Ron Paul got 3.6% if the current numbers hold up he quadrupled his percentage. But to say South Carolina should be skipped is wrong. If anything more should have been done. The campaign had a Veterans card in 2008 that could have boosted his numbers in South Carolina.

Looks like in the first three states, Paul got three to four times the number of votes he got in 2008.

2008
Nevada 14%
Maine 18%
Alaska 17%
Minnesota 16%
Montana 25%
North Dakota 21%
Kansas 11%

There was NO Official Campaign Presence in South Carolina...... NONE...... the 13.2% Tonight was achieved by the South Carolina RP Grassroots.......Thank you for all of your hard work.

Unfortunately, Florida will have very much the same result....there is NO Official Campaign Presence in the Sunshine State...

All Campaign Operations are being done by the Florida RP Grassroots, God Bless Them!!!!

I am very worried about the RP Nation tonight.....it is a long fight....do not give up....

Check the Ron Paul Daily Donation Tracker in the coming days.....that will tell us if our chin is up or we have become disspirited!!

Wow... we will do very well in those states this time.

Doesn't having Gingrich/Santorum/Romney in the running until (or around) Super Tuesday help with creating a brokered convention scenario anyway?

What happens if Gingrich drops out after this, how are his winner take all delegates awarded?
