Its just a very immoral and criminal way to hurt the state and that way is by hurting the business that support the state via taxes. Reminds me of MMO games where you attack a your opponent by attacking its smaller "neutral" allied factions because the main faction are heavily defended.

This doesn't have a lot to do with the guy that got shot and died. It has a lot to do with the militarization of the police and their being above the law. MB is just the poster child. This has a lot to do with the whole corrupt chrony system.

Must disagree. It has everything to do with who was shot because THAT circumstance is the PSYCHOLOGICAL BASIS of the events now happening. These sorts of things matter from the standpoint of LOGIC as shall be applied in the analysis of these events long after they are over. Those analyses will be used as the basis for furthering tyranny down the road when the looters have gone home with their TVs and Air Jordans, thinking to themselves how they got over. But the joke is on them because someone will be looking at them as "niggrahs" that need to be further reeled in, and the rest of us will be sucked into that vortex as well.

Usurpers live to usurp and these sorts of erroneously used events always serve as elements in the basis for further usurpation. This is old-hat. It is boilerplate. It is perfectly predictable. It is fact that 99.99% of humans never learn the lessons that scream at them.

Therefore, to say that the event in question has little to do with events current is, IMO, mistaken.

Just to make this all clear with the most cursory analysis: cop shoots MB. Investigation of the events lead grand jury to what I a most likely disposed to believe is a reasonable and honest conclusion, much to my disappointment. Therefore, regardless of my endless disdain for police, I have to give the coppie in question a pass on this one narrow point. Therefore, this particular shooting cannot by any reasonable standard be held up as a just pretext for the rioting that has ensued. Therefore, one may plausibly conclude that the people are dangerously out of control and that more "authority" must be issued to... um.... the "authorities", even if just temporarily until this is brought under control. But we know it will remain in place, all assurances to the contrary notwithstanding.

I'm not saying any of the conclusions of the analysis are righteous, but only plausible and that they are likely products because we have a long and storied history of tyranny to guide our own conclusions. What is going on in MO is nothing better than ammunition for Theire further incursions against YOU.

MSNBC unsurprisingly says the difference between the US and other Western countries is the guns used by protesters during the rioting. Essentially, they just said it is best for civilians not to have guns in the US.

Surely this cannot be surprising to anyone. MSNBC is virtually constrained by their state of mental retardation to arrive at wrong conclusions of practically all matters put before it. They are, by definition, full-time-full-retard.

Quick someone from Ukraine , Libya or Syria come and sanction the US for using excessive force on protestors killing and burning police men. Oh wait, they haven't started killing and burning police men and they are using excessive force? I guess that calls for an invasion, military aid to protestors or something, the innocent have to be protected NOW!!!

This is what it would sound like if the US is given a taste of their own medicine when it comes to foreign policy.

Yep, no one seems to have the willingness to dish up a good old plate of karmic retribution upon the US...

Yeah, never understood that.

"The police murdered a kid! The courts are corrupt! Fuck the police!"

"Lets go burn down our neighborhood and the stores we shop at!"

"Yeah! That'll teach the cops!"

I guess though that the out-of-town ers are responsible for most of the violence. And to the other point that the rioting draws out the cops. They did get a cop car though.

That'd be my guess - Lass got gassed or peppered

Ah. Gotcha. Pepper spray antidote. Useful information.

Stopping the Burn . . .
There is no easy or pain free way to cure pepper spray contamination and different people react differently to pepper spray. So what removing techniques work for some may not work for others. But through our experience the how to steps below will help you get through the experience with the least amount of discomfort possible.

Our first aid recommendation for pepper spray removal is to start with applying whole milk to the affected area. You can apply it to the effected area via a spray bottle, splash it directly on your skin, saturate a clean towel and lay it over the effected area or submerse the effected area. The milk should help take the burn away. However, this will not remove the oils in the pepper spray. For getting the oils off we recommend using the below antidote.

Removing the Pepper Spray Oil from Your Skin
Use a solution of 25% “Dawn” (noticed we mentioned a brand name) dishwashing detergent and 75% water. You can probably get away with using less detergent but we have always used this formula. Use cold water and make up at least a gallon because you are going to have to wash the effected area at least 7 to 8 times.

If your face is contaminated mix the detergent in a bowl that that is deep enough to immerse your face in for 10 or 15 seconds at a time. Let the detergent start to do its job of breaking down the oils. Do not use your hands or a cloth to wipe the solution away. Just let it sit. Once you have done this a few times you can start lightly using your hands (after they have been dipped in the solution) or use a solution-saturated towel to work the detergent into your skin. This is most likely going to activate your capillaries and the pepper spray. This is normal so try to remain calm and patient. Decontaminating your self from pepper spray can take as little as 15 minutes to as much as 45 minutes before symptoms subside. Recovery depends greatly on your skin type.

Once you can readily touch your face without too much discomfort your can use a little more pressure to work the solution in. Once you are to this point rinse your face between the applications of the solution. You may even wish to make up a new smaller batch of solution that is clean and does not have any oil residue in it. Because your skin will absorb some of the oils you will not be able to completely wash it out. But by this time at least the effects will be tolerable.

If you get pepper spray in your eyes when wearing contacts, take them out as soon as you possibly can. Throw them away: getting the pepper spray off them will be practically impossible. Blinking helps wash the capsicum from the eyes, which isn't much comfort to someone who has to spend the next half hour waiting for the pain to diminish. You can also try flushing eyes with saline solution.

Grand jury declines to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown; Ferguson erupts.
Why was the decision announced at night?
How often do grand juries indict police officers? Almost never.
How often do grand juries indict non-police officers? Almost always.
After initial post-Ferguson concern, politicians have mostly abandoned efforts to demilitarize police.

WASHINGTON — Lawmakers vowed changes to the Pentagon programs that deliver military-grade equipment to local police after images of cops climbing out of armored vehicles with military-grade weapons filtered out of Ferguson, Missouri, in August.

But months later, the chaotic 1033 program — which sends surplus military gear built for combat to local police forces with little oversight — hasn’t changed at all.

The 113th Congress will end without substantive changes to the program. The White House hasn’t announced the results of its policy review. The flow of billions in technology designed for the battlefield to local police forces will go on unabated.

“The fear is that this is some kind of moment that passed. It’s just another example of temporary interest in a crisis and inevitably things go back to normal,” said Radley Balko, a prominent expert on police militarization and author of the most cited book on the topic. “Looking at the history on this issue tends to make one cynical.”

Ferguson – What Did You Expect? A Real Jury Decision? The System is Not Designed That Way
http://armstrongeconomics.com/2014/...decision-the-system-is-not-designed-that-way/
Unfortunately, this is as expected as the Missouri grand jury decided not to indict a white police officer over the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager in August. I have explained that this need not even be racist because the grand jury system has become a joke. The government only needs to present whatever evidence they want. There is no obligation to present all the evidence because the Supreme Court has ruled that the Grand Jury is NOT entitled to all the evidence, since the trial jury will correct any deficiencies. The problem – indictments are not rendered against government people and handed out like candy for their enemies.
[...]
The worst of the worst is that the Grand Jury proceedings are secret. No judge is present at the proceedings which are led by a prosecutor who is routinely pro-government. The target “defendant” has no right to even be present his case or to be informed of the proceedings secretly being conducted behind the scenes. There is no right to a lawyer in the Grand Jury. Among the legal community, Grand Jury indictments are considered a JOKE and the typical phase one hears among lawyers concern the rules are so one sided, the government could indict a “ham sandwich”.

The argument for such secrecy was unanimously upheld by the Supreme Court in Douglas Oil Co. of Cal. v. Petrol Stops Northwest, 441 US 211 (1979). The dissenting opinion was joined by Justices Burger and Stewart still concurred with the Court’s opinion as to the importance and rationale of grand jury secrecy. The gist of that secrecy was people would be afraid to appear and rat out others the government wanted to indict if they were not protected. That was the same reasoning behind the Venetian Mouth of Truth and the other side is that fake evidence enters because there is no check and balance against witnesses who can then say anything to sway the Grand Jury to whatever direction the government desires. Very, very bad decision. There is no accountability whatsoever.
[...]
The idea that only the people can indict is very nice. But as Stalin said about elections, it does not matter how people vote, it is those who count the votes who decide elections. Well this is the same nonsense. The rules have been inverted so ONLY the government has a right to indict anyone and they ALWAYS protect their own. This type of corruption should be expected. The Grand Jury is a joke when there is secret proceedings and no right to present both sides so the Grand Jury can be deaf, dumb, and blind. The Grand Jury was originally the people standing between the people and the government. To protect government, they simply changed the rule to ensure the government need not tell the Grand Jury the truth. What Stalin said about elections applies to Grand Juries. The Government can indeed indict a ham sandwich. They mean nothing if not even less.

I keep seeing that posted, but haven't read the evidence supporting that claim. How do you know they are out-of-towners? Is the media checking their ids?

"Excuse me sir, I see you just lit that building on fire, can I check your id to see if you are a local?"

Good point.

I do not cheer the events that transpired. I can understand the protests, but the media has done its job here. A case like many others made into a national issue, distracting from the real issues. Instead of less police violence there will be more. Instead of less racism, there will be more. The people of ferguson lost a criminal, he probably didn't serve to die, but he made his bed. But now ferguson has lost its community and dignity.

And the man who did the killing is still standing.

Police state +1
Freedom -1

Thanks ferguson. Thanks media.

It was from the last 2 rounds of rioting in Ferguson. First there were a bunch of videos that non-locals posted going into Ferguson to riot and loot, then the looters arrested were all (except for 1 or 2) from out of town, and then there were interviews of people who were protesting but not rioting and they were locals, and then there was some investigative report that showed people coming in from out of town, rioting, and then leaving town. Add all those up and it adds up to "most of the rioters were not locals, most of the locals did not riot."

No, I don't have any links, just memory.
