Feds warn Texas not to enforce state-level immigration bill

It's curious that there doesn't seem to be any data on how many illegally cross the different states borders right now, specifically Texas vs. California. It used to be that California clearly had the most illegal immigrants, but recent data is very hard to find.

The politics of California is basically the same as that of the Biden Admin. California politicians would claim that California is one of the biggest net "donors" or taxpayers to the Federal government, thus California has moral superiority on the cost of anything at the Federal level. Of course the Democrat conquest of California via immigration has already occurred, and was simply the role model for Democrat control of the entire nation.

No leftist in California would complain about immigration, even if they have to leave the state because of massive immigration. It's woke brainwashing.

FWIW:

1 in 8 U.S. residents is an immigrant.
Immigrants paid over $500 billion in taxes in 2021.
22% of all U.S. entrepreneurs are immigrants.

Good point.

Perfect.

^ That’s ^ the whole entire point of the coordinated effort, and Americans not insisting their representatives stop the freebies. The politicians/lobby/industrial complexes thank you very much for your full support.

I can see how easily domestic TSA will perfectly fit in to that.

Too many "Americans" are not.

This single graph makes as clear as it can be, a tipping point was reached, the Rubicon crossed, in the early part of this century.

Now it is not just arming the border and closing it, it's going to take massive deportations, to reach any level of sanity again.

¡Afuera! as Milie likes to say.

That's just the ones we know about.

The population of Congo has an average IQ of 65.

Burma (Myanmar) is a little better at 91.

You cannot go to the stars, you cannot cure cancer, you cannot defeat mad scientists bioengineering killer plagues, you can't even maintain a peaceful, high trust society with a population too half witted to figure out how a toilet works.

And we wonder why IQ is dropping in the US.

It's good to see that Kennedy's not falling for the left right paradigm like a lot of his followers.

"This bill that we will sign today is not a revolutionary bill. It does not affect the lives of millions. It will not reshape the structure of our daily lives or add importantly to either our wealth or our power." - Lyndon Johnson after signing the 1965 Immigration Reform Act

That graphic made me LOL. Obviously someone does not understand exponential growth.

Then again, someone else does understand.

I'm not sure the best way the constitution should be written, but this is WAY past the point where Texas can sit around and wait for a bunch of idiots to decide what's legal. Texas needs to put out the fire first and THEN everyone can decide a long term solution.

At the very minimum one possible solution would be to send the immigrants to every state based on population. It's hugely unfair to put the entire burden on a few border states. That would be like telling Texas they going to be responsible for raising all federal tax revenue. And I have a feeling the minute ALL the states get included the entire border is going to be razor wire central.

Good point.

The sheriff of Riverside County California was on TV today and said that the majority of illegal crossings into the US occur in California. It's just that California is a sanctuary state, and no officials complain about the influx.

The Texas Military Department has sparked controversy after posting a photograph on social media of the "Come And Take It" flag as tensions at the U.S.-Mexico border grow.

In the Tuesday post on X, formerly Twitter, the flag, featuring a cannon on a white background along with the slogan, is seen on a flagpole alongside the Texas state flag in a photo that was posted without further comment.

Both the Texas National Guard and the smaller Texas State Guard come under the direction of the Texas Military Department.

The "Come And Take It" flag was used by Texan secessionists at the 1835 Battle of Gonzales in reference to a cannon that Mexican troops were attempting to seize.
