FBI: Violent Crime Declined As Gun Sales Climbed in 2009

So I guess this means that "more guns equals more crime" is a false premise of gun grabbers.

Who knew?

Did they really need the FBI to conduct a study for them to figure that out?

Still great news though! :)

Past FBI statistics reports echo this one. Whenever there has been an increase in gun sales violent crime goes down.
Doesn't matter to those that are against guns ownership.

Well sure they did! When people wake up to the fact that our "Disneyland" government works neither through common sense nor non-statutory law; then many things will become clear. The name of the game is perpetual circulation of FRNs [debt] and controlling the population of "slaves"...as simple as that.

Yes; they DID validate what any observant individual already knows--big deal.

Yup, violent crime has been decreasing steadily as gun ownership and concealed carry has been increasing.

Yes, I'm sure they can, they just lack the ability to reason.
;)

Yes . If they had the ability to reason , 1) They would understand the most simple amendment .. . "Shall not be infringed" . 2) If they were able to reason they could conclude that gun laws are ridiculous and that criminals do not follow the law .

Correlation does not equal causation but in this case I'd make a strong argument that it does.

"Bad people" are always going to have guns. If you make it illegal for "good people" to have guns what will happen? Either:

1. Good people cannot protect themselves

2. The good people decide to join the ranks of the bad people.

In my experience most people who are for banning guns have never lived in neighborhoods where you have to protect yourself. I have - and am very FOR responsible gun ownership.

The murder rate in the US is 3 times as high as the UK which has almost a complete ban on personal gun ownership.

There are plenty of reasons to not ban guns, but lowering the crime rate is not one of them.

There are too many variables to isolate one and try to draw a huge analogy based on statistics.

But I would still argue that more guns makes for less crime as it allows good people to defend themselves.

British accents also make people more civilized and less likely to commit crime as well so there's that too.
