===>:::::Face the Nation Thread:::::<===

So does anyone else just smile when they are watching him? He is so much more at ease. Just love him! Ok... gotta go donate some more money.

Thanks for the vids. I thought he did great. I especially loved the way he handled the questions about the Military and national defence! The interview left a smile on my face!

I loved how he coined,"neo isolationist". It was brilliant!!!

I got the sense that the interviewer (what's his name??) enjoyed the interview and likes Dr. Paul a lot, and I think that will do a lot to encourage the type of audience he has.

:)

He looked a little jumpy, wish he had a littttle more confidence but not too cocky like Huckabee, but overall pretty decent. :)

cool that he mentioned the Tea Party, but...

Perhaps the Interviewer did his homework and saw that TODAY there was a drive...

He tossed Dr. Paul the ultimate slow pitch softball question, "When is the next drive?". The answer is, "TODAY... Veteran's Day.... and there is one on December 16th as well." The Tea Party is important but there is also a drive going on RIGHT NOW. Kind of a swing and a miss in that regard...

This one is not as important as the one on the 16th. We already had a huge day this week ;).

I had no idea there was a drive today. I think I'm going to wait until 12/25 to give Ron Paul's campaign a Christmas gift.

You could send a little something today. But the big drive is for 12/16, the Boston Tea Party. teaparty07.com

I think RP handled the "slow pitch" perfectly.

Maybe if we had $500,000 when he went into taping, mentioning today would have been a "win". But currently we are around $100K for the day so far, and if he had brought it up and today didn't raise a million dollars, it would have been an overall negative imo.

With what was raised Monday, expectations for today should be muted.

Endorsing the 16th as the next "bomb" was perfect.

True, but it still doesn't change the fact that there is one, especially when the military had already come up. Don't get me wrong, he does great for the pressure he is under, I am just armchair quarterbacking.

And two and a half million people just heard about it. 1% of them donate $100 = 2.5 million dollars. 2%? 5 million dollars. On top of whatever we donate.
