What hypocrisy on the part of Huckabee. He references RP's desire to let states decide the abortion issue and then proclaims that abortion is a moral issue that cannot be limited by geographical boundaries. HOWEVER, when asked later whether he would consider running on the same ticket as a pro-choice candidate such as Guliani, he stated that he wasn't sure and would have to address that concern when it presents itself. Clear evidence, in my opinion, that Huckabee is just another candidate that is driven more by the quest for power than a commitment to principle.

There is a risk he could possibly, if he's lucky, against some odds, with some work, might have the ability to get the nomination if everything works out OK.

What the hell Ron? Yes! Just say yes!
He needs to stand up and validate the work of others in his campaign to not just get a message out but to get him elected.

I got my brother to watch him and he said, " OK, I like his views but...lacks confidence doesn't he? Even he thinks he can't win."

pfft.

I am a bit worried about him not clarifying the anti-medicare comment. But, overall, he did GREAT!!! :)

I thought so too but I was watching w/ my grandfather and he did not get wound up about his benefits being cut. He did not even get the impression he wants to "end the checks".

He considers destroying a hard drive an upgrade.

By "upgrading his server" I think he meant "updating his web site". One of those updates was removing his realtime online donations counter out of embarrassment.

So what was the big news for Huckabee? Was it just that Robertson endorsed Giuliani? That's some lame big news, even for Huckabee.

"We defended Seoul, South Korea better on 9/11 than we did Washington D.C."

I love that line.

Theres not much professional journalism out there like that guy anymore.

We defended Seoul Korea better than we defended Washington DC on September 11th!

BOOYAH!!!! I have been saying that all along!!!!!

I watched it and he was great.

The man is as humble and honest as the day is long!

I am hoping so bigtime that he gets more airtime than 15 minutes in the coming months.
It just wasnt enough time for him to be more clear on the issues. Hell 15 minutes is small but its better than 5 or 0.

Afterward I watched Meet the press with guest Obama.

I was twitching in my seat.

He was asked about contributions made to his campaign by lobbyists and special interest groups.

In laymans terms (not an exact quote) his response was:
Im sad that the election process requires that you need to raise vast amounts of money if you want to be the president. I stand against taking money from corporations, unions etc.... but Ill take it anyway, so when I get into office I can change the process"

Barf!
