Just a simple question. When voting at your precinct, for all of you that have voted in these primaries, how many of you have been polled on your vote? And was there a visible system for exit polling you could make out??

I'm getting really curios how they can call Mccain a winner in Ohio with 300 votes in based on exit polling.

Thanks

Exit polls showed McCain won in a landslide. IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT DAMNIT! If you don't understand, go back to your high school and sue your mathematics teacher! For God's sake people!

Get outta here abe. He just wanted to know if you've ever been exit polled. I have not.

I live in a rather large area and no one was exit polling where I voted. I think this is a fair question since I've never seen anyone on these boards mention being exit polled. For all we know they are just making the numbers up at this point...

Wouldn't surprise me.

Abe, you're doing well, keep it up!!

I'm in a sleepy town in CD-14. There was no exit polling when I went to vote around 9am.

Never, but let me say this: another member suggested that we ask the news agency which precincts they did such an exit poll and ask voters if they truly did get exit polled. If you're not willing to do that, your conspiracy theorizing and jumping to conclusions is baseless.

An exit poll does not have to be widespread. Do you know what extrapolation is? Some of you guys really amaze me.

I'm completely aware of what extrapolation is, and I have extrapolated that most people on this board who have questions about exit polling have made a point of the fact that they were not exit polled. Nobody has responded to them saying that they witnessed any exit polling, but simply agreed that they were not polled.

While I have not called any news organizations to ask this, the information that I have been presented with thus far makes it seem as if there might not actually be any exit polling going on by the MSM. It would not be surprising when everything else they have done this past year is considered.

Extrapolation is the scientific explanation of how every precinct votes for the same candidates in predictable ratios. I remember reading the CA precinct results awhile back and the results were always the same, no exceptions:

McCain-Huckabee-Paul
McCain-Huckabee-Paul
McCain-Huckabee-Paul
McCain-Huckabee-Paul
McCain-Huckabee-Paul

Shows how effective the MSM is at turning out large numbers of sheep that vote in a specific way.

Thank god I'm not the only one who found it odd I was never "exit polled." As Penn and Teller say, F*CK YOU FRANK

It's totally possible that they just make the shit up, but does one thing lead to another (fake exit polling --> vote fraud)?

I'd be able to do the same thing, say, if I had a website because I know what the polls show. Sure, perhaps it'd be off here and there, but than again, it's just an exit poll.

But anyway, less speculation and more evidence.

I was the one that made the suggestion Paulitician. In 2004 a CNN reporter claimed in a coverage piece she was doing that the polling place where I was working was being exit polled. It was not, we even called nearby precincts, they weren't either.

I asked this question in the other thread. I haven't been exit polled or any other poll EVER and there were none in my district. I been voting for over 30 years.

Number of respondents to CNN's exit poll in Ohio in 2008:
716 [source]

Number of people who voted in Ohio's Republican Primary in the year 2000:
1,397,528 [source]

This means that they only poll roughly 1 in every 2,000 voters.

I plugged these numbers into a Margin of Error Calculator and got a margin of error of 3.7%, and a confidence level: 95%. This means that statically there is a 95% chance that the actual numbers lie will fall within 3.7% of the exit poll results. BUT, this is assuming that the respondents were really chosen completely at random from the total population of voting Republicans in the state AND that they are reporting the results truthfully, neither of which we have any way of knowing.

You seem to change your tune very quickly. First you call me nutty, and then you say it's possible that they just make this shit up. So what is it?? The evidence can only be obtained through research, asking questions, and doing more research, unlike someone like you that wants to silence anyone that questions the veracity of the information being presented by the MSM.

I didn't change my tune. I think it's possible. Do I think it's probable? That's a different story. Also, it doesn't matter because I'm not here making baseless statements.
