Hey, Linda. Ask them if they'll do the job for a grand, if you give them some free advertising. Are any of the people in the shop RP fans?

you know i was teasing you

hey.. I'd help if I used paypal.... I'm not a bad guy here, but the dissenting opinions are really cracking me up.

Actually i think grannys have a paypal account ,then they can pay their credit card and free up more money to help?? ask them to post it ,if they have a PAYPAL account ,if they do i can spare 25 on my paypal account

GRANNYS YOU HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT?????

I thought for sure the think of your grandma line would work, guilt can work wonders:):) RON PAUL 2008

God, I swear a couple on this thread make me sick. These ladies have done, and will continue to do more for RP's campaign than you can ever dream of. They've been on the front lines from the very beginning, and you cant even think of giving $20? I'm a single father, who's also a meetup organizer, paying bills-buying supplies for RP activities-taking care of my son-donating to Ron's campaign- and i can still "justify" sending them $50.

well, part of the wonder of this campaign is that we work together and find ways to do things as effectively and efficiently as possible. we all have the same goal, but i'm sure we all have different opinions as how to go about achieving that goal. No biggie. We are free to choose who and how we help, and in the end - things will get done one way or another. That being said, i don't think we should be down on people for trying to help in ways that perhaps aren't as effective as we think they should be. We all have room for improvement. The point is we keep moving forward!!

a transmission on a recreational vehicle will never be more important then food.

The Grannywarriors' Warwagon appears to be simply an RV, when in fact it is something much larger in scope.

Linda and her crew have made a significant contribution towards raising awareness about Ron Paul (100,000 miles = a LOT of people being exposed to Ron Paul). The Grannywarriors need and deserve our support. I've done what I can for the moment and will continue to do so as I can afford to.

I suggest that anyone who says that the Grannywarriors "should get a job" should re-consider what they are saying. Linda's 'job' is getting exposure for Ron on a wholesale basis, and she does very well at it IMO and the opinions of many others. Please don't say anything negative about her and her efforts (besides, it reflects negatively upon you).

You havent seen the media buzz and coverage???? either your living under a rock or commenting on something you know nothing about.

Maybe you need to research the press coverage of the granny warriors.

maybe dont post at all unless your gonna help them get fixed .

GRANNY WARRIORS ROCK,anyone who thinks different i have a tazer gun for your azzes(sarcasm) dont get offended:)

It served a great and wonderful purpose at one time at the start of this campaign. I agree that they were a huge help then. But this is now a distraction and may in fact be a non-optimal use of resources now. Do you want stories in the MSM about the use of non-green, non-efficient resources being used when the 4th quarter attacks start? I don't.

If the RV can't be replaced, the campaign should dispatch them to an early state that needs a lot of work like South Carolina. It's what they do in person that counts - it's not about the RV at this point to me at least.

If this emergency ends as well as I think it is going to, it would make a great Free Market News Network article IMO.

Great Job

I've seen some coverage - but it wasn't always positive in Iowa. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

An RV gets horrible gas mileage. You know why more people aren't doing this? Because it isn't cost effective.

However, my long term goal when I retire is to travel around the country in a recreational vehicle. I love to travel - sounds like a great vacation.

But for now I will continue to work full time and spend my free time donating money and going door to door. If I have an extra red cent - it goes to Ron Paul or to my local meetup group for advertising.

Some people actually get second and third jobs so they can have more money for Ron Paul. I feel your post is trivializing all those people that are doing the true dirty work in this campaign. Driving a decorated RV doesn't hold a candle to door to door activity or working a phone bank.

If this is legit, I'll donate a couple hundred. What do people think about this request?

I think you can trust them. They've spent far more of their own money on this mission than we ever will.

There's no way they're getting rich off this, if that's what you're thinking.

I can't believe that there are people here that aren't willing to support a grassroots effort that PROVEN itself time and time again. Have we located the trolls? Seriously? If you start stifling one grassroots effort (and one of the more prominent ones), what's next? Shall we stop sending money to people that are plastering flyers at concerts too?

To whomever mentioned that we could buy a spot on TV and reach 50,000 people, how many people have seen this RV? I'd venture to say more than a couple million. Sure it doesn't have plasma screens on the outside with commercials running, but its name exposure.

I'm with the Granny Warriors 100%. I just donated another $25 and I hope some others will too.

I'm just saying that every time I've been on a road trip, I've absolutely hated driving for hours on end.

Something to think about for all the skeptics.

I respectfully disagree. Certainly those things are very important, but neither of them will get newspaper articles, TV coverage, and general attention. It's a gimmick, and it seems to work pretty well.

We need to get the attention of the middle aged and senior voters, IF the grannys are part of that, it's a good thing.

ok here it is

NO WAY. First I have passed out at least 3000 flyers in 3 weeks .i have gone business to business in my 3 counties Eagle/Summit/Lake and person to person. i helped our citizens pass amendment 44 in our 3 counties with activist work 56%/62%/52%,we have a strong chance to get over 56% support for RON PAUL in all 3 counties,so yes im busting my ass,my post are to encourage and enlighten what others are doing. My list on what i have done for RON PAUL is longer than that and i only came onboard 1 1/2 months ago,so my POST ARE ONLY TO HELP BOOST SPIRITS,when i cant give anymore money, since i have spent at least 300 of my own moneyt for grassroots activist work as well as stressing over getting our 14 newspapers to cover ron paul and trying to get radio time for ron paul in central colorado,so dont doubt what i do,just help others and if i could send the GRANNYS 4000 right now i would,SO PEOPLE HELP THE GRANNYS AND STOP BITCHIN,we all have bad days ,but every supporter here with different views is trying to do the samething, peace kenny RON PAUL 2008

I have seen the RV and I'm the one talking about media exposure..

A TV spot reaching 50,000 people and also gives them a deeper glimpse of our platform. The reason why every campaign does this form of advertising is because it works.

If an RV was as cost effective, every campaign would be doing it.

You have GOT to be kidding. Have you seen the inside of that RV? It's not exactly the lap of luxury. It is totally up to you whether you want to help them out of this emergency, but please stop make judgments on what they have done.
