I am writing this as a special needs request. I realize you have donated as much as you can and really appreciate it. I must ask for help now as we are really in a fix.

We started out to NH to do the walk about with Ron and his family but only made it to Virginia. The transmission started slipping and we went to a AAMCO shop to have it checked and fixed. They test drove it and told us it was not the transmission but something in the gas. They put in 2 cans of Drigas and 2 cans of STP and sent us on our way saying it was not the transmission but a motor problem. We got 13 miles from the shop and the transmission blew out. We sat on the side of the interstate for 9 hours waiting for a tow truck big enough to haul us. $430 was the cost for the tow truck. We are now sitting in the same lot of the AAMCO transmission shop waiting to have the transmission rebuilt which they are working on now. The cost will be between $3,200 and $4,300 dollars. We do not have that much money, not even close. We have to get the work done or have the RV towed to a storage lot to wait for repairs when the money is available. Our credit cards are maxed out. Already tried that and can only get $1,000 which I used to get the work started. Now we have to raise the rest in time to pay the bill or I don't know what will happen to the RV. I would suppose they would hold it till it is paid off. I just do not know.

I am asking for you to try to help us out this one more time. I hate to keep going to you my supporters for help but will tell you one thing. Every single cent that has been donated has been used to promote Dr. Paul, buying stickers, flyers, slim jims, gas and oil... Not one single penny has been spent on myself. If you need verification I will gladly send you the paypal statements. No dining out, no burger king nothing but the necessary items to make this campaign work.

If there is any way you can send a few dollars now please do so as soon as you possibly can.

I am so grateful for what you have already done and really hate to ask for more but this is a dire emergency which makes it necessary to be begging for help once again.

Linda ( Granny Warrior)

I just now received this email. I don't have much money left, as I just maxed out my contribution to the campaign, but I'm going to send them whatever I can.

Anyone that can, please let's help them. We can Paypal money to them. Click on the gas pump on their web page. http://www.grannywarriors.com/

This is the header from the email I received. It is the very same email address that you will see come up on your receipt when you paypal them money from their web site. It's them.

I think its time to pack it in. Our money can go to much better causes then rebuilding an RV so someone can continue to travel around the country.

OK, I'll send cash. But, if I see Granny Warrior on MTV cribs, I'm going to laugh my ass off.

It is up to the individual to decide. I am close to maxxed out on donating to the campaign, and I don't mind helping the grannies.

Up to the individual to decide.

Charity is what this country needs more of.

AAMCO is a rip off..... have them find a used transmission in a junkyard from a similar model RV for like $400-500 and pay some mechanic 400-500 to swap them.

I'm sure you can even find a mechanic in NH who is a RP supporter who may even do the work for free.

Granny Warriors are Legit...

Let's help them out!

>>>Dear Max De Marzi,

This email confirms that you have paid REPO-PAC $100.00 USD using PayPal.
This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *REPO PAC".

of course it is.

They can decide to consider my opinion as well. :p

They are in VIRGINIA and I would imagine the cost to tow the RV to NH would far surpass any savings from getting the work done there.

If this is legit, I'll donate a couple hundred. What do people think about this request?

This is definitely legitimate. I was the one who helped them raise $1200 to come to NH (gas, etc), and I received update phone calls from them regarding this repair problem. I have met these grannies several times and they know Dr. Paul personally. These women, especially Linda, have dedicated their lives to Dr Paul for almost a year now. They are the most active and devoted supporters I know of.

This is just really bad timing though, when we are all trying to donate as much as possible to the campaign to get to the million.

*Sigh*

Can the meet up of the town they are stuck in be contacted to see if they can get someone to find the most reasonable mechanic possible.

Personally, I like the symbolism of Ron Paul supporters helping the grannies out in their time of need.

Man, at this rate, they're better off finding a new tv. It'd actually be a better use of money to get a 5th wheel and a truck.
