The Warriors grassroots support ARE her resources, and they have been earned by each on an individual bases. No government handouts here. :) I certainly understand that the timing and expense of the situation isn't great, not everyone will want to contribute and that is fine but this type of message is part of what this forum is about.

dudette! LOL... and no promises... but i'll see what i can dig up. My whole family back in Ohio are mechanics... i can be very persuasive ;)

I emailed the Grannies for the info, but if anyone can get it to me ASAP that would be best. I have to go to work at 4 and i wont have access to a computer til after midnight.

a transmission on a recreational vehicle will never be more important then food.

The problem is the Granny Warriors aren't in a good position to do what they are doing. They rely on us to gas the vehicle and do repairs, but our money could be better spent elsewhere.

If a person can't afford to travel the country, they should stop travelling the country. Get a job - campaign locally, and donate money.

Sorry if this means I am belittling efforts, but I'm the type of person that says what he feels. This is a waste of money that could be better used for Ron PAul's election efforts.

How's it looking Santana28? What do you figure it will cost if you can find a rebuilt model. How much to transport and install? Just curious. And how much has been donated?

I'm full of questions today.

well, that was short lived. :(

just got a reply from Linda:

we are in the AAMCO lot now and they already have the thing out and working on it so we are more or less stuck with this ... We really didn't have much choice as we had to be towed and had to have a place to be towed to.. I appreciate your help... I wish we could have worked it the way you had planned but just didn't have the time or resources to do so. Linda

Well - how about another track then. Does anyone have any contacts with AAMCO? What we need is a Ron Paul discount for parts and labor.

God, I swear a couple on this thread make me sick. These ladies have done, and will continue to do more for RP's campaign than you can ever dream of. They've been on the front lines from the very beginning, and you cant even think of giving $20? I'm a single father, who's also a meetup organizer, paying bills-buying supplies for RP activities-taking care of my son-donating to Ron's campaign- and i can still "justify" sending them $50. :mad:

You havent seen the media buzz and coverage???? either your living under a rock or commenting on something you know nothing about.

Maybe you need to research the press coverage of the granny warriors.

maybe dont post at all unless your gonna help them get fixed .
