maybe you should take a look at my Borzoi in the window if you dont like the monkey.

Is there a feature where you can block peoples post,i will not mention names but i was curious .maybe away in the forum you can block a users post?

Yes. Click on that user's name, then opt to "View Public Profile." Up on the right, there's a link to add said user to your ignore list.

You can also do it from your User Settings, but this way is easier IMHO.

how boring, glad you are not my travel partner, i would leave you in the last town.
We all know vacations are only fun if you can't afford them. Am I right, folks? Am I right?

Wow, Jacklaw, 7 whole posts. You sure are starting out here on a nice foot.
I've been lurking a little while now. Thought I might as well strike while the iron's hot.

I'll try to stay in your good graces, though.

who could even begin to think their trip is a vacation? they are some of the most important people supporting Ron Paul, and if you do not get it, just ignore it. you are rude to try to disuade us from helping. we are going to both help them, AND contribute to the campaign.

Whether it's a vacation or not, it's still a waste of money, relatively speaking.

they are some of the most important people supporting Ron Paul, and if you do not get it, just ignore it.
Yes, they are important supporters of the campaign, but do you know who the most important ones are? In descending order: Benjamin, Grant, Jackson, etc. Unless those little green fella's are behind the campaign, it isn't going anywhere.

we are going to both help them, AND contribute to the campaign.
To bad the former detracts from the latter.

i wonder why you are putting so much effort into opposing the grannies.
some of us hope that if you drive, you may run into some transmission trouble and remember this day.

C'mon Jacklaw...

No one is twisting your arm asking you to contribute to something you choose not to. But, I'm asking you to please stop the naysaying against those that do want to help.

I'm posting on an internet forum. Does that qualify as effort?

I'll reiterate the argument which has been presented.

Relatively speaking, donations to the Grannies are wasteful (Though ofcourse not an outright waste. I was wrong to state that previously.). The money would be better spent by professional campaign workers, in whose hands it would at least go toward the Q3 totals.

A grassroots movement succeeds through local involvement, e.g. going door to door, attending local events and fundraisers. It does not succeed because a small group of well-meaning individuals travels about in a gas-guzzling political advertisement.

I don't mean to dismiss the Grannies' efforts as nothing at all. But I do mean to discount them, to the extent that their particular approach is not the best use of supporters' money.

some of us hope that if you drive, you may run into some transmission trouble and remember this day.
You don't mean that, I'm sure.

But, I'm asking you to please stop the naysaying against those that do want to help.

You're right. I'm done.

many many people have discovered Ron Paul as a result of their own approach to this rv and the grannies
its even nicer when voters make their own discovery instead of being cornered at their front door.
you should allow for a variety of campain methods in order to appeal to a variety of voters.

I just heard from Linda (Granny Warrior)

She received enough donations to pay for the repair. She thanks everyone from the bottom of her heart. :)

For a moment, consider what a political campaign is, and what it is meant to achieve.

Maybe then you'll see how absurd this statement is.

What's truly absurd is attacking the gutsy Grannies and all the very positive and constructive things they do for the grassroots.

Mean people suck.

Carol Paul doesn't think so - she's personally donated a substantial number of tee shirts to the Grannywarriors to help defray costs. Guess what - Linda doesn't feel right selling the tee shirts Carol Paul gives her, so Linda gives those tee shirts away to Ron Paul supporters, no charge.

The money would be better spent by professional campaign workers

Now that right there is a very uninformed comment.

It is all about FREEDOM

The entire message of this campaign.

People are free to contribute or not as they see fit.
Putting them down for donating is antithetical.
It is their money and they should be free to do
what they want with it even if others think it
could be better spent.

As far as most people are concerned, if it makes you feel good, donate to it. I'd guess that would be Mrs. Paul's philosophy in this instance. However, that doesn't change the fact that the money would have a greater impact elsewhere.

Now that right there is a very odd picture.

Gee golly, Sojourner, my unexplained, unsubstantiated assessment doesn't hold much more ground than yours.

You don't know what that is, do you? What's odd about it? It is what it is, the port PT6 on a B200 photographed from the front.

And like I said, Carol Paul appreciates the Grannywarrors' efforts, so that's good enough for me and a whole lot of other folks.
