But animal fat is a different story, and there are tons and tons of studies show a diet high in animal products linked to clogged arteries, higher risk of cancer and heart disease, etc.
Uh, no, those studies were decades ago, they were wrong and have all proven to be paid for by big ag who wanted to grow a lot of cheap grains.
Saturated fat is good for you.
Most vegetable oils are HORRIBLE for you, they are very high in omega 6 fatty acids and can cause heart attacks. That is why more people are having heart attacks, because they stopped frying things in animal fats and started using vegetable oils back in the 80s.
The exception is coconut oil, olive oil and avocado oil, those are pretty good - but corn, soy, peanut and anything labelled "vegetable oil" is really, really bad..
