I'm agnostic & yet it'd be great to see if Ron can takeover the Christian-block; he's probably the most "christian" (as opposed to"unchristian") politician out there.
Anyways, if he does start getting the support of the Christian wing then there'll be misinformation about him being a "Bible-thumper" & a fair number of people ALREADY think that. So here's little ammunition to destroy the "Ron Paul = Bible-thumper" arguments :
Show them
this poll where a HUGE chunk of his followers are shown to be atheist/agnostic/non-religious, if he were a "Bible-thumper" then almost none of these would support him, they support him because he has voted Constitutionally for over 3 decades & stands for freedom for ALL, not just Christians. Of course, his defense of the ground-zero mosque at the ire of many Christians should be mentioned, he wouldn't've done that if he were a "Bible-thumper".
I believe these are decent arguments to convince people to realize that Ron is NOT a theocrat so let's get geared up in advance to deal with this possibly new wave of misinformation that might come up if he manages to secure a significant amount of the Christian-vote.
Note : There are more polls
here about religion & other issues as well as race (for those who say he's racist & has no non-white following). My thanks to all those who created these polls; I find them extremely useful.
Here's a reply by Doug to a comment I made on one of his articles.

I believe you said you could be a rel help in Iowa.
Iowa is real important. I hope the offer still stands and they take you up on it.

Of course I will help. Thanks for the encouragement.
Then what the hell is the campaign doing? They should get in touch with Wead ASAP. He says Ron Paul is the living Thomas Jefferson so he wouldn't mind taking a paycut, would he?
