Posting cause it seems everyones been called already. Stop the phones, don't let any votes. Thanks

are you with the campaign?

because I wasn't aware of that. It is better to just say this is your opinion and why, since the campaign hasn't said anything officially.

I am wondering about it myself, though.

FWIW, I tried signing up today and got a busy signal when trying to validate my phone. I'm not good at talking with people at all, and given the problems people seem to have today, I guess I'll just let it go.

No. Sorry. It looked like everyone os saying the callers are telling them they've been called a few times already. I am a big time Ron Paul supporter. Even have a Ron Paul bumper sticker on my car! Just don't want us to alienate any soft supporters.

We shouldn't "Quit Phoning" even with the overlapse.

But if you believe your calls are becoming counter-productive . . . improvise your statements or quit calling.

Nonsense. Keep calling. I've been getting through to a lot of supporters who are excited and grateful for the call.

If you're concerned about any negative association to RP with overcalling, structure the script this way:

Hi this is X.

I'm a volunteer calling to remind you that the Caucus is tonight at 7.

(If they have been called already, they will likely just hang up at this point. Note, there is no association to RP)

Are you still supporting Ron Paul?

Great. This is a very close election so please bring friends and family if you can.

They can register at the Caucus. Registration begins at 5:30 and voting starts at 7. Please try to arrive as early as possible and bring a valid ID.

Do you have your local caucus location information?

You're absolutely right. It's long past time to stop calling. People don't like to be called 20 times.

Your not the only one, many credible posters here say they have contacted people who have been contacted to many times.

Just be polite and friendly with people. Ask first if they have been contacted and then apologize if they have and tell them you will put them on the "do not call" list. It is hard to hate people and get upset with people that are friendly.

Don't be alarmist, there will always be problems and negative consequences, the end result is worth it. Push forward, kindly, patently carefully encouraging people to support Dr. Paul.

there's no such thing as a soft ron paul supporter. i'm not worried.

Whew, then why even GOTV at all? Everyone is such a rock hard Ron Paul supporter they absolutely are going to caucus and vote for him, right?

Does campaign have any strategy about sending phone sms? Should be less annoying.

I believe he's referring to all the recent reports of people being irritated about being called multiple times.

I have to admit I've been spending time writing more 'letters to the editor' than phoning, and I haven't been writing too many letters to the editor (they always turn out to be much longer than I intended and usually get rejected for exceeding character limits).

This Phone-From-Home program is the first of its kind, though. Ron Paul grassroots has always been about 'firsts.'

I imagine the first guy to try to fly didn't get it right the first time either, and I think there should be a simple adjustment to make for future states.

I wouldn't fret over it too much; I doubt few people are going to make a truly informed decision if they're just now deciding today to support Ron Paul. If they really cared about this country, they'd have been looking up the candidates before today, but, I won't digress.

He's right. I called a few people and they all said they'd been called.

I saw that news piece your talking about that I highlighted today I think on Faux so I can see why your saying it. However, a call to stop phone calls should only come from the campaign. So instead of calling for calls to stop you should put out an urgent hail to the campaign to see if they are aware of the issue and what they want to be done about it.
