And here we see the great potential dangers posed by mixing truth with lies.

Anyone thinking that there is not threat here is being dangerously naïve. It may be a propaganda piece, or it may be a heartfelt warning given by someone who wishes to see his home, family, and everything for which he cares to remain. Sure, we can look at it cynically and say that it comes from a man who doesn't want killed his goose that lays his golden eggs. That changes nothing, for it is still about property rights at its root.

Is it a "propaganda" piece? Perhaps, but it is wise to bear in mind that even the worst propaganda, if it is to have any meaningful effect, has at its core a truth that serves as the basis for that effect. The key, then, is to find the truth in it, cleave to it, and disregard the rest. Here the truth is that Muslims are warrior people and those "at the top", their leadership, are Wahhabis. Translation: they are not your friends and have no respect for human rights. If allowed, they will impose an iron-fisted regime upon you that will leave you pining for the days of the Soviet Union and their gulags. Some will object to this, making the boilerplate claim that the people running wildly about in the middle east lopping the heads off people by the thousands are just a "few extremists". Such people need to take a trip to Saudi for Wednesday judgments where people's heads are removed, as well as hands and feet. That is Wahhabism and unless you get your head out of your sphincter, it will be coming to your home town in your lifetime.

Perspective is indeed hugely important, and the key to having a good perspective is practicing the art and science of getting one.

Trump may be a NYC loud-mouth. He may make a shitty president, just like all the others would. His meter in reading the little snake story may not be quite "on", and heaven knows Opal is right in thanking heaven he did not sing it. But when all that noise is stripped away, what remains is the core truth: Islam as an institution poses and clear and existential danger to nearly every human being on the planet.

Emphasis on Islam as an institution should make clear its difference from Islam as the vague belief system of the Muslim Meaner who has never read Qur'an and knows of Islam only that which the mullah has told them. As I've written before, my wife was raised Muslim and ran away from it the day she was first married at 18 in favor of becoming a Presbyterian. She will tell you how it is - the average Muslim is an ignorant, knowing only what the mullah tells them, and in her experience there was never anything even remotely related to jihadism mentioned. Be generous, good for your word, kind to widows, and so forth. That was what she was taught. Therefore, some caution is warranted in whom to target in a war with institutional Islam, which is evidently a very different thing from that which is practiced by your average Muslim.

OTOH, the proportion of Muslims moving toward Wahhabism seems to be growing. More importantly, how does one separate the wheat from the chaff in the event that real-deal physical warfare breaks out, say, in America between Muslims and the greater population? No righteous man seeks to harm the innocent even in a war such as this. And yet, how does one avoid it? He cannot, because war is chaos; especially one of this nature.

Underscored is the deeper issue of conflict between an ideal (liberty) and reality. Ideally, America is the land of the free, and we accept one and all. In truth, there are those who ought not be allowed in because they would see us destroyed. How do we defend against such threats? The answers I hold seem very crude instruments to that effect. Are there no better ways than the apparent dichotomy of national suicide v. slamming shut the door?

That all aside, we are heading down a very bad path at the hands of Bammy and his handlers and the likelihood that significant bloodshed lies in our future is already fairly high where this issue of whiny, fist-shaking Muslims is concerned.
