Trump announces Emergency Actions 1st Day to Drastically Reduce the Cost of Living

The Trump campaign has not been effectively managed, and there's been infighting, and reports it's become chaotic. There is a new, highly quoted The Atlantic article going around. My first reaction to the article was, this is tabloid trash, but I think there have been missteps recently which could negatively affect the campaign. It's become a little too unhinged.

In regards to this thread's topic, consider this - it's BAD POLITICAL STRATEGY. You don't tell millions of Americans you want to downsize things they depend on a week before the election when you've ALREADY GOT conservatives (both fiscal and social) IN YOUR CAMP by a wide margin. There is nothing to gain, and lots to lose.

Speaker Johnson also made a big mistake that I believe can hurt Trump when he talked about repeal and replace. Obamacare is what MILLIONS of Americans depend upon for healthcare. These people don't want Republicans to control all 3 branches of government, and therefore see Obamacare repealed.

It's bad politics, and the VAGARITY of stated intentions like Musk's to SLASH GOV by such a huge number are not going to help Trump win. The opposite is true. It could swing the election for Harris.

I'm not talking ideology here. I'm only talking about what makes sense from a campaign management standpoint.

No $#@!? Wow never thought I would see this day. I feel better about having to vote for the orange man now.

If DJT gets in and IF RP is appointed to a position in DJT's admin, I think this will be a learning-moment for libertarians: power isn't just a linear process of "get your guy elected, then have him wield power for your beliefs (to reduce government)". Power is more complicated than that, and living in denial of the real nature of power doesn't make you ideologically pure, it just makes you stupid.

The two-party system has turned the "lesser-of-two-evils" argument into a charade of mass-manipulation and, for this reason, American libertarians are extremely allergic to any argument that begins with, "I don't like to make compromises, but hear me out..." I was in that headspace for sometime. I don't care about politics and so it's all utter garbage and does not deserve any involvement/engagement whatsoever.

Unfortunately, total disengagement is just fine with the Clowns who run Clown World. Do stay in your cell and keep quiet, that's a model prisoner! At the federal level, America has been in a kind of political domestic-violence situation for a century or more. The R/D Establishment have developed Stockholm Syndrome but is going into a catatonic state (the libertarian response) really morally superior?? Sadly, there is no pat formula for how to push back against tyranny as effectively as possible. Well, except for the Gospel. And I think that's kind of what Clown World is doing, it's forcing more and more people down to the razor choice between yielding to absolute tyranny, or yielding to God. In the end, the choice will be completely black-and-white.

In the meantime, we need to exercise real wisdom and discernment and choose the path that leads most effectively away from tyranny and back to the founding principles of this once-great nation. If any of the Founding Fathers were brought back to life in 2024, they'd agree with 99+% of what Ron Paul believes and they would be absolutely flabbergasted by all other political platforms out there, especially the Republicans and Neocons. Explaining Democrat/Woke/Marxist beliefs would sound to them like alien-speak. We (liberty-lovers) ought to reclaim that high ground of being the true heirs of the Republic as it was originally laid down by the Founders and not allow the talking-heads to spin our resistance to their tyranny into "racism" or "isolationism" or whatever. We're not any of the things that the DC policy-wonks try to claim we are in order to protect their little empire from disintegration by exposure to the acid-wash of simple, obvious truth. They have built a gigantic house-of-cards and the slightest puff of wind will topple it. We (liberty lovers, Ron Paul supporters) are a tornado. They know that...

Ron has already stated that he will not take a position in the administration. It is in one of the threads where he was interviewed.

If Charlie Brown gets to kick the football, it will be a learning moment for him.

You're reading leftist propaganda and expecting us to take it seriously?

The article was a very minor thing, but the points I made were valid about Musk and Obamacare.

Anyway, I watched one full rally (Salem) and much of Greensboro last night.

Trump is doing better and not talking about the things that can shake voters off.

But the Democrats are talking about it in their speeches. I also catched some of Moochelle's intro for Kamala.

I can't watch Kamala but for short peeks just to analyse her. She is vapid and has nothing enlightening to say.

Trump is finishing strong and on message, and doing 3 more rallies today and 4 tomorrow.

Harris SNL appearance went well, and I just watched that.

I would rather see Trump win. Soon, we're going to know.
