I was 9 years old at the time but I remember it on the news. They're making a movie out of it. Charlize Theron is in it.

Just a little inspiration of sorts.
Edit: I don't advocate violence. The WTO protest started off peaceful but, in my opinion, the police escalated it to what it became.

I wasn't there, however a friend who was there told me he was fairly certain that the folks that initiated the violence were not protesters.

Most likely APs (Agent Provocateurs). One violent act justifies, to the cops, that they are free to take physical action towards anyone who looks threatening or even those just trying to help someone in trouble. It doesn't change.

Every protest nowadays has it's problems and we need an organizational staff that addresses the issues that might arise and creates a plan to combat them.

somebody posted a video of protest in Oregon here a while back, and fascinating to see the lies the pd used to justify their use of force

Watch what really happened in Seattle HERE:

Police State II - The Takeover
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2758880303660529314

The corrupt central government has already implemented the first stages of an oppressive Police State -- MARTIAL LAW IS HERE!

Alex Jones exposes the problem-reaction-solution paradigm being used to terrorize the American people into accepting a highly controlled and oppressive society. From children in public schools being trained to turn in their peers and parents, to the Army and National Guard patrolling our nation's highways, Police State: The Takeover reveals the most threatening developments of Police State control in our age.

Yup... they were Agent Provocateurs all right. This film is quite an eye opener. The police were told to STAND DOWN and allow the orchestrated violence to continue so that they could declare Martial Law the next day, which they did, and arrest peaceful protesters. That event alone has given "protesting" and "activism" a bad name.

They've trained us well, but we're waking up. The race is on.
