Latey i am have been brushing my teeth with water, cause everytime i brush my teeth with a fluoride thoothpaste they start to hurt a bit, so i was wondering if some of ya can tell me if i can find or buy some thoothpastes without fluoride? for once

You can buy Tom's of Maine toothpaste at wally world. I promise you can.

Just do a search for "health food store *your town*" You can buy some natural shit there. Just be sure to read the label. Just because it says its natural doesn't mean that it is. In addition to fluoride, you should avoid anything with sodium laurel sulfate, anything that ends in paraben and anything that has a number in the name such as "Steareth-2". This is just when you are shopping for natural products though. If you're just buying mainstream stuff then don't read the label. It'll just scare you.

Xyliwhite by NOW Foods. No fluoride, and it uses xylitol as a sweetener rather than sugar. Xylitol is actually good for your teeth.

I don't use toothpaste (I use a Soleday toothbrush) but my wife and son use Xyliwhite and really like it.

It depends.. we use well water, so we're not on a city line. I doubt we have flouride in the system.

The toothpaste that I mentioned can be found at a health food store or online.

There are plenty of whitening toothpastes that don't have fluoride. Generally the two cancel each other out. My dentist (who is also a family friend) pointed out that whitening toothpastes with fluoride have no effect either way, so pick one.

I checked our water department's papers and the amount of flouride was very low. I drink reverse osmosis water from my friend's water vending machine anyways.

Speaking of flouride I've seen a site that said it's not only in toothpaste but grape juice, tea, beer, processed cereals, seafood and in our vegetables and fruits due to flouridated pesticides. Also I'm thinking about how many things that I buy in the grocery store that use water. What about when I go out to eat?
As I can see it excessive levels can be avoided but trace intake is almost impossible.

What level needs to be resorted to? Do I need to live in the middle of nowhere and drink from a well that's tested and grow my own food in a greenhouse?

I was relieved to find out that my local water source on decided to flouridate the tap water just a few years ago. I use to drink copious amounts of tap water growing up.
