OK, but so what if Graham claimed that Russia interfered in the 2016 election? Is that claim even disputed? Are Patel or Gabbard claiming that any of these new revelations disprove that claim?
I realize that they are trying hard to make it sound like that and saying things that they hope people will jump to that conclusion without them actually saying it. But when you cut through all the smoke, I don't think they're even making that claim.

Forced by Russia. Not only have they historically attacked countries that western Europe would buy their energy from but the Russians have historically influenced their politics and their politicians to buy Russian energy in order to promote peace (so they wouldn't be attacked)
You know one of the things that happened prior to Russia invading Ukraine was Ukraine was going to sell Europe energy.

The question has always been to what extent. So yeah, at what point does it become criminal vs. simply slimy politics?
I'm sure Thailand tried to influence our election as well. It's just that the case they were making against Trump was that he colluded with Russia to "steal" the election - something they knew was false, but pushed it anyway.
I totally get your point, though. Can they prove it crossed over into criminality? Hard one. But they did use the apparatus of the federal government for political reasons. And it's pretty evident.

I'm sure that there are. But the examples of Russian interference which were gathered by Congressional investigations (Facebook and other social media postings) were more damning of the basis of democratic electoral processes than anything else ... basically, voters are pretty damn stupid. It seems like when foreign countries meddle like that, it's evil ... yet when corporations tweak voter stupidity, hey no problem. And let us not forget, "They're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats, the eating the pets, of the people that live there."

I would go further than you and say that, in my opinion, those sorts of things aren't very damning at all.
I just bristle at all the muddling of the issues, such as is exemplified by the line I quoted.

Of course it has something to do with Russia interfering in our politics.
He is literally a KGB detector explaining how Russia's political warfare works through demoralization and Marxist ideology.
Which is essentially what happened to create the modern progressive wing of the democrat party.
He even brings up the institutional indoctrination inside of our schools that are anti American.
Trump has been dismantling these interfering organizations and ending programs like DEI.

Isn't it, though?
You know, there just might be a clue here why all the people who have done everything from throwing Trump in jail to shooting his supporters at his rallies are going uninvestigated. It's almost like Trump is grateful for it because having all those victim cards to play helped him get elected.
