Disappointment with CFL

Well, I am sorry. I think it is really bad when the State of Wisconsin can only give my family $16 for food per month. And my father has been without a job since January. Before he was let go, he had a good job for almost four years and I did not need to ask for this kind of help before.

I am sorry about your family's situation. I understand that you're still a kid (10th grade is a kid in my opinion, no offense intended). So I'll give you some unsolicited advice keeping that in mind.

Whatever bad things have happened to your family, you have to get out of this victimhood thinking. The only people who will ultimately do what's in the interest of you and your parents are you and your parents. If you worry about blaming your miseries on the taxpayers of Wisconsin or anyone else, you'll forever be waiting for someone to fix things. Stop waiting and start doing. And don't say to yourself, "I can't." Say to yourself, "How can I?" Don't give up until you succeed.

Start learning how to be content with what little you have, and how to be self-sufficient and make the most of it. Look for ways to do things cheaply, and look for ways to make a buck so you can do them. Also, be patient. Don't insist on living like you're wealthier than you are. Save money, work hard, and look forward to the day when you can live like someone with more because you actually will be that person.

Here's an idea to get you started. You can make Campaign for Liberty T-Shirts for you and your whole family for just $10 if you buy iron on decals here, rather than getting the expensive stuff at the CFL store:

The best thing anyone could do for this youngster is send him a copy of Anthem.. he needs it...:D:D

Well I don't know about the apparel but you mentioned not being able to get books in your letter to C4L.

Most of the books here and here are available in your local library free of charge. I actually googled your city and found a local library. Here it is...just click on EasiCat Library Catalog and perform your search. For example I did a search on your system for a just published book for which I reviewed for RPF (which I purchased) and they have it in stock but all the copies are checked out. Just wait a little while and even this new book will be available. For the older books they're usually available somewhere in the county. In some cases it's located in another branch in the county. If you can't make it to the branch where the book located you can click the "place request" button on the search result and they'll deliver it to your local branch free of charge.

This is great advice for everyone on RPF.

Hope this helps...

and your priority is a t-shirt?
beg us for food and maybe we'll chip in.

Why is it so bad for me to request a t-shirt to show my support for Ron Paul and CFL? I already said that I was sorry that I don't have money to buy the shirt myself.

I've gotten lots of free tshirts just by being active in the movement. At many events people are giving away tshirts.

Because T-shirts do not grow on trees. Because to "give" you the shirts you want, C4L would have to use some of the money that has been donated to them, from us and others. Money we did not have to give, but we did. Many of us do without other things in our lives so that we can send money to groups like C4L. Money we donated to them to fight for our liberty; not to buy people t-shirts.

Make sense now?

Hey...my house payment is 1400$ a month and Im down to 32 hours a week...its not my fault...can I have a couple shirts :p:p Maybe CFL should get into the free shirt giveaway business.

Maybe C4L should start giving away t-shirts instead of sending out fundraising mailers. Walking advertisements would probably draw more people into membership.
