Yep. Trump isn't an ideologe. His support of the "big beautiful bill" and his threat to "primary Thomas Massie" is proof of that to anybody who isn't a complete Trump sychophant. (Sadly we have a couple of those here. One is thankfully on my ignore list so I don't have to see his tripe.)

Well I'm not a Democrat and I didn't call him racist during his first term. I am going by actions. Not party. If you can lie about Haitians eating cats and dogs in order to end their refugee status and then bring in white South Africans under fake claims of white genocide in South Africa then you're a racist. One thing @Anti Federalist and I agree on about Trump is that Trump is NOT an ideologue. All Trump really cars about is who will be loyal to him at any given moment. He reveled in Mia Love, another black republican, losing her seat in Congress because she dared challenge him on his "shythole countries" remark as she was of Haitian descent. He has no principles. Donald Trump would endorse the ghost of Fidel Castro for public office if he got something out of the deal. And we've already seen that he's ready to primary Thomas Massie just because Massie has principles and is willing to stand up to Trump when Trump is wrong....which is often.

FTR I'm just calling it like I see it. Trump 1.0 wasn't a threat to me and mine. Trump 2.0 is. It's okay if you don't see that as you're not in the crosshairs. You're in the crosshairs for other reasons though. Namely Palantir is being given access to YOUR data. The "deep state" is real and Trump is part of it. You might not see it now but if you live long enough you will. In fact the more I think about it the more I am convinced that Trump's 2.0 racism is more about getting his supporters who wrongly think black/brown people are the real enemy to keep them from focusing on the fact that he's stabbing us all in the back. One of the few things that I, @PAF and @Anti Federalist can simultaneously agree on is that Trump has no principles. Sometimes that can be an advantage tot he cause of liberty and sometimes it can be a detriment.
