Just showed here in the West Coast - Alex did most of the talking. Basically said that Charlie has been clean for 7 months but still is going through withdrawal like someone who has given up smoking. He said Charlie was provoked by the producers by "vanity cards" that tried to demonize Charlie, and Charlie was pissed about that when there are far worse things going on like Iraq. Alex took a baseball bat to the beehive and blamed a million dead Iraqis on Bush, which got a fairly positive response from the audience.

I don't think The View ladies understand how having these types of beliefs that Sheen has affects your personality, how you see the world and it affects how you are treated by powerful people in Hollywood. They didn't seemed to dismiss them or not think that these issues are important.. Well, Alex Jones thinks these things are important, if you invite him on your show that's what you're going to get.

And it was perhaps the most fun and worrisome episode that the show has had this year. Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg were unable to control him and his outbursts and Walters had to end the segment shaking her head and telling him that he was indeed a good friend to Charlie Sheen.

I have to say that Alex Jones was a bad interview and didn’t give any insight into the situation with Charlie Sheen but he did make for good TV. ‘The View’ had me laughing hysterically this morning.
