Did RP and/or C4L sell their mailing list to Romney?

I received fundraising letter from Mitt today.

Can't imagine anywhere else they would have gotten my name/address other than Ron Paul / Campaign for Liberty mailing/donor list...

Anyone else here?
 
this again? The RNC is using its mailing list for Romney. Are you registered as a Republican?

I must have received about 40 by now.
 
No, I am not registered Republican - Illinois does not have partisan registration.

I did, of course, vote Ron Paul in the 2008 and 2012 Republican Primaries - so perhaps state of Illinois voter lists is where this is coming from...????
 
I am almost certain someone is. My sister is Independent, never been a Registered Republican. She donated to Ron Paul's campaign then started getting mail from Rand Paul. Now she gets mail from Mitt Romney
 
I have received numerous letters from Romney campaign, which I promptly throw in the trash. I am registered Republican. But that's about to change.

Well, Ron DID sell his list to Rand, or lease it, when Rand was running for Senate.
 
My father has gotten Romney mail and he is registered non-partisan but has donated to Ron Paul
 
If you ask for a Republican ballot in the primary, you're on the GOP mailing list. Congratulations.
 
I've gotten a letter from Romney as well. I'll be sending a nice little letter back in the pre-addressed envelope which is meant for a donation.

Just think of it this way: he is wasting campaign money sending letters to people who are never going to support him in any way, shape, or form. He can send all he wants, in my opinion.

If he bought Ron Paul's mailing list, that was an incredibly bad investment.

Yep. That's the same thing as registering Republican.
 
I hope RP did sell his list to Romney though.

That way, RP's campaign gets whatever Romney paid them, plus Romney's campaign is out that much money, plus they waste even more money sending their junk mail to people who are never going to give them a donation. It's win-win-win.

Who then gave it to Romney.

I know folks don't want to hear this, but the fact is, for me anyway, the spelling of my name and address is unique and could only have come from the RP campaign records.
 
Last I knew, you could search the internet and find out who donated money to each candidate. Perhaps they are also getting this info that way.
 
I suggest doing this, as long as there is a pre paid return envelope.

Just make sure you crop the scan matrix, bar codes and your name and address of course.

It would be just like these fascist fuckers to try and charge somebody with "mail fraud" or some such nonsense.
