Maybe CA will finally fall into teh ocean so's the beach will only be ~30-60 minutes away. The breeze from the ocean will be nice, and increased home values (oceanfront property and all) sound neat. I won't have to put up with anymore Hollywood godawful films for a while, either.

At the end of ea Aztec cycle , they build the fire , wait up all night, see if the sun comes up, so , Cental Mexico time zone. You need not worry.

errr daylight savings time is added and subtracted each year...no net gain or loss.

The only problem is I doubt the Mayans took Daylight Savings Time into their calculations. I hate to tell you guys, but the calender ended months ago.

Hmm. I'm still here. Decades of anticipation, and I'm not even overrun by toads. The roads are reopening after the impressive Apocalypse Eve blizzard. Trash pick up is on schedule. No sign of an apocalypse here.

Probably the most beautiful day of the year here in Houston. I even went into work late so I could take an extra long walk with my dog.

Yeah, it's strikingly beautiful here in Charlotte too. The sky's as blue as pure New Mexico turquoise.
