[SPLIT] Christian pacifism

You're just a malcontent.

God doesn't want us content with the devil. And bombing for peace is the devil's work.

Keep advocating for the devil's work, and see where it gets you. Keep supporting those who enable Nuttyyahoo to exterminate the oldest Christian churches of all, down to the last babe in arms, and see where it gets you. Heaven is expressly reserved for those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and unwavering faith only in the Lord.

Romans 13

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Blessed are the peacemakers:

How about we hear the words of Jesus, direct and with neither first century nor nineteenth century spin?

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment

Good luck with your crap, dude.

Tell it to GOD's Judges, like Gideon.

Your generic be good to people quote has no bearing on this topic.

I don't plan on making any excuses on the Day of Judgment. I'm going to do my best to take what I've got coming like a man.

You're the one who makes excuses every single morning, not me.

The words of the Lord are a generic quote?

Keep it up, idolator.

Oh, that's not necessarily so. Two people can disagree, for example, on how best to serve God, and because they have different talents to offer, they can both be right.
If this were true, there wouldn't be 100,000 Protestant denominations. When Susie says the Holy Spirit told her that all humans were created in God's image as a sign we need to accept gay marriage and Bob sees it as the opposite. They both can't serve God.

What?

So, because I said two people can best serve God each in his or her own different way, you figure I think every single denomination of every possible religion is legit?

Go put your asinine leaps of "logic" in somebody else's mouth.

Ah, a few days ago, we had some good faith exchanges and now we are back to this. Perhaps now I'll learn to just ignore you entirely.

Why doesn't the Cliché-O-Matic ever pop up with a platitude that's relevant to the actual conversation?
