Debate for National Health Care Starts on the House Floor @ 1030 EST / 0730PST 11/7

QFT - I don't know of ANYBODY in RPF's who blindly follow Republicans. In fact, pretty much ALL of us HATE Republicans. We just happen to be on the same side of this particular issue.

Correction, we support the Republican's in voting NO on this particular issue. I don't in anyway support their alternative plan.

What did Lyndsey Williams say again? Everyone will be working for the government? The assimilation will have begun with this bill.

Hey Dingel, what about the 100 trillion in unfunded entitlements? Where is that money coming from?

I won't.
I am unhireable. even if I did want the job.

I will be a target.
I will do my best to be a difficult one.

Same here. They automatically concede to the dems by offering a diluted version of the socialist plan.

oooohhhh! - forced vaccinations of kids in public schools - I didn't know that was in this nightmare....

I think you misheard. It was about using the schools for vaccinations. I think.

Oh yeah, and LOL @ Dingell saying that Canadians produce cheaper cars because of their health care system. Seriously...what the hell?

Im not sure why people here follow blindnessly on republicans thinking every thing they do is right. In Australia people pay 1000 dollars a year on a single payer system. Which gets us free healthcare and then you want to you have the option to buy private health insurance on top if you want 'better private healthcare'. Which is only a few thousand a year anyways.

I think if most people on here realised how bad there system was compared to the world they would realise they were getting screwed. For 1000 a year, even less if you earning 50,000 a year, you would be able to go to a doctor for free anytime you like, with the option of paying to see a private medical doctor if you want to.

I believe in conservative principles but i believe if people on this board stopped having blinkers they would realise they would be better off.

The function of government is to protect life, liberty, and property. For that you need the police, the military, and the courts. Was running health care mentioned? No.

Also, why the heck do you say that we "follow blindly" the Republicans here? You have no idea what you are talking about. FYI, people in this forum oppose the war on drugs and the warfare state the Republicans support. We just love liberty, and don't give a damn about what the Republicans say.

So the house passes this abomination through and then the slim majority in the senate utilizes the nuclear option to send this bill to the President's desk? That's how it's going to go down?

Probably, but by MAKING them use "the nuclear option" we will create a much larger 'push back' in 2010 and 2012... and since we are infiltrating GOP candidates with Paulers at every level in 2010 and 2012, that pushback will directly benefit us.

So if it's going to pass ANYWAY, then it's best to make them do it as crookedly as possible to create that much more of a pushback for 2010 and 2012.

If the Stupak amendment dies, could the bill theoretically die? I hope these greedy progressives don't concede and try to keep the abortion provision. They could splinter their support.

Mob Rule... How it take 50.1% of Congress to spend Trillions and impose tyranny for generations... SAD frigin country.

Listen to the callers in Favor to C-SPAN... I want this, I have this...

agree -- I actually have a plan that I think would work without killing the Constitution or the budget. too long and detailed to get into right now, but suffice it to say I am not in favor of the GOP plan either.

"no child left un-vaccinated" - what part of that didn't I get?

I just watched it back. I was correct. It is a pilot program to test the feasibility of using schools as immunization centers. That's why Boehner said right after something to the effect of, "don't we already do that?".

I want to cut my ears off listening to these pro-Healthcare-bill callers into CSPAN.
