Debate Factcheck: Bachmann WRONG, Ron Paul RIGHT on Iran

Bachmann isn't just wrong...she is using her lies as war propaganda. That is unAmerican, unpatriotic, and also places our young men and women of the armed forces' lives at risk.
 
You guys arent realizing how much this helps Newt though. He is going to get a damn bump now, since Michele fucked up on Iran, it will now make it seem like Newt is telling the truth on the FM 1.8 mil issue and that he wasnt lobbying. So yea, this may Ron look good, but it helps Newt a crapload....f'n A, man. Whole debate was just meh to me :(

This last point was her real whopper of a lie. She made the same claim in the last debate. Ron Paul did not call her on it either time. They don't admit to having a nuclear weapons program so what sense would it make to threaten to bomb us with one? (In fact, what sense would it make to threathen us even if they did have one? We have thousands).

When she gets to talking about Iran or Israel, this woman is completely bonkers.

After all of the attacks, you think Newt is going to get a bump? All the polls are showing him slipping. I didn't see anything in the debate that made me think that he'll get a bump. If anyone gets a bump, it'll be either Ron or Perry.

Iran=brown people, brown people are mooslims. mooslims=insane violent maniacs. Americans=exceptional

I think at the end of that exchange where she was making the case to pre-emptively attack a country for tenuous reasons she actually said "As president I would be on the side of peace and the American people"
