There must be something in the water lately. First you have the beautiful actor walking through NYC getting greeted by typical New York guys (with some try-hards who can't take a hint, admittedly). That was Hollaback.org.
Then all that stink about women not being paid as much as men, when most of the women I work with make as much or more than I do, and the ones who make less are only paid less due to less experience.
Now women want to ban a pick up artist. Do they think that the actions of other women who fall for this, reflect poorly on themselves? Maybe the feminists should be suing the other women who are complicit in the acts which reflect poorly on the gender.
I think feminism has ruined this country. Guys no longer know how to approach women, or if it is even safe too for fear of being labeled a harasser or even rapist; women are less happy, a recent study showed, though the study does not provide a reason for this; I have a theory:
Women are unhappy because more equality means more responsibility, which historically rested on the men's shoulders.
And I for one don't want a woman who is my "equal". I want a woman who is good at things I can't do, and I want to be able to do things she can't do. That's how people compliment each other rather than over-lap each other. I mean, FFS, if we all want to be our equals then lets just clone ourselves and go f'k ourselves.
The guys who want to approach women take cues from pick-up artists because, like it or not, these tactics DO work—though maybe not on everyone. Obviously, they work on enough people for these PUA's to make a living at it.
I see generation after generation growing up with no male role-models whatsoever. PUA's fill that gap. But women these days have learned that they don't need no stinkin' man. So the endless cycle of youngsters running off to take their lessons from folks like this pick-up artist, and women just become more and more unhappy with each passing generation.
I took the bitter pill this morning, apologies for the rant.
