Unlikely. Most of the people who voted for Kucinich in the first place probably support universal healthcare in some form or fashion. Along with the "purists" who want single payer, there are those who'll say "something is better than nothing". .

Let's not forget that he instructed his delegates to basically "calm down, sit down, and shut up" when they tried to mandate an anti-war resolution at the 2004 Dem Convention. He then very enthusiastically got behind Bonesman Kerry.

What is surprising is you making that comment when you clearly no nothing about Kucinich, nor do you know anything about the speeches he made firmly positioning himself in direct opposition to this bill on principle alone. Otherwise you might understand why people are surprised. If your mind can only conceive of two or three types of people then I guess I can understand why you would not be surprised. But for people who live in the real world, things are not so cut and dry, and peoples values do not completely align with any group the simple minded try to attribute them to. You are a perfect example of that.
