Cravaack for CD8

What are everyone's feelings on Chip Cravaack? I know he'd be better than Oberstar but honestly, the blacktop in my driveway would do a better job representing us than Oberstar does.

Looks like he's in a statistical tie with Oberstar when factoring in the 3%+-.

Oberstar - 45%
Cravaack - 42%

I don't much know much about the guy, but it will be amazing if Oberstar gets defeated. I hope that's the outcome, just to throw a sharp punch at a longtime incumbent like that, not counting on how good or bad the GOPer might be.

I wish we had that kind of race here in CD-4 to unseat McCollum, but I her and Keith Ellison are nearly invulnerable due to the political base in the cities.

Oberstar has been unbeatable in CD8. The lowest percentage of votes he's received is 59%. It looks like there is an outside chance that he'll get beat this time.

That would be quite an upset if Oberstar is removed. Then only CD-4 and CD-5 will be the last hard left fortresses. The other House Democrats, Walz and Peterson, are somewhat conservative (at least by Dem standard).
