Constitution Day Moneybomb, Sep 17th. Planning, promotion and more promotion thread.

It doesn't take luck afw, it takes hard work. And yes, I know we can do it. We have more supporters this time around and all it takes is bodies. But one money bomb getting 9 million is better than 9 money bombs getting 1 million.

I think we can hit a huge one on 11-11-11 and / or 12-16. Others will do well too.

Bryan!!! Nice to see you!!! For now, let's focus on the Sept. 17th date. The media is portraying it like he has less support than last time because we did so well. We did so well because we were a focused laser rather than separate streams of light.

Dude, we are doing better then last time. Fundraising more earlier. Its August.

Tell THEM that. I didn't write it. I was just saying how important it is to make the money bombs as big as possible. Do you disagree?

I would like to suggest that you collect pledges as opposed to having people sign up on a facebook event.

Yes. Yes. Yes. This is absolutely kicking our butt. We are basically cutting off about 30% of our potential audience using Facebook to "pledge". Nothing wrong setting up a Facebook event in addition, but it shouldn't be the primary collector of that data.

Can we share this moneybomb schedule with the campaign and start focusing on establishing some collab groups for each of these? I'm currently working on stuff for the blackthisout moneybomb, but do we have anyone in place for the Constitution day moneybomb? Who is coordinating that one? It's coming up pretty quickly.

I read in many comments here how last time around moneybombs were huge, but unfortunately they came too late in the election proces to make significant impact. So, is that true or is this what you are saying true? And also, some people here are downplaying significance of moneybombs saying something like 'moneybombs are not so important this time around - let's focus on fundraising. Just donate!' If 'Just donate!' works, why did we needed moneybombs last time around at all?! Is it true that moneybombs are not so important this time, or is it just that some people that made so many complaints about Trevor Lyman and his fundraising efforts are now seeing that it is not just 'put some site online, and there would be couple of mills'?

It is true that last time's moneybombs came too late. We gave the campaign 4 million in November and 6 million in mid-December. The primaries happened in January. We were wrong to think that the campaign could somehow change the entire political landscape in less than 2 months. If the campaign could have that kind of cash right NOW, they could really get the momentum building. To tell you the truth, we're actually behind IMO. For a campaign that's not getting much media attention, we need a ton more cash to compete with the media anointed "top tier" candidates.

Also, we've found moneybombs to be the most effective way of raising funds for Dr. Paul. When we tell people to "just donate," they rarely do so. Moneybombs encourage them to pitch in.

all right guys retard here, how do I go about letting the 500K facebook supporters know about the ron paul moneybomb?

you can only really let those that you know, know. There is no magic pill to auto-notify all the folks who "like" ron paul

You could go through the list of people who like him and ask them one-by-one personally.
Also go to Facebook Groups that would relate to Ron Paul and post.

Glen "Gunny" Bradley Constitution Day MoneyBomb is still on. I have contacted Josh Lowry and he will be putting up a banner for us. We need to set up a main thread that does not keep dropping down.

I have also contacted Carolina Journal to see if they can do an article about the shoot and online moneybomb. We have a little over 3 weeks to make it happen. We can do it.

I took the sig graphic and added the website, using this on another forum I'm on:

Also shortened the website graphic to use as a pic for promotion:

I have a question. Gage won't change the site at RonPaulwins.com. It needs to look like the poster MJU posted. As it stands right now, it says that you should donate Sept. 17th through the 30th. Then in little tiny print it says that the 17th is the money bomb.

1. Many people we will be contacting have no idea what a money bomb is. So, even though it says that the money bomb is the 17th, they won't have a clue what that means. And if they do, they might not see that tiny print. Especially when the big print says something different.

2. How are we going to have one big day if people think they just have to donate sometime during the end of September?

3. Without a pledge counter, how are we going to build momentum? That was the most important part last time.

Cero...the way we all did it last time, was one at a time. It was exhausting, but it worked. However, I don't see a point in sending people over to that site the way it is. It is very confusing.
