Congratulations Obama!!!

Stick the race card in your ear. i called 4 GOP executive committees in florida this morning and reminded them that they ignored a large faction of the GOP...the Ron Paulers...and if they were smart..they would be reaching out to us. I got positive responses and agreements from most. They want us in...i am going in to help repair the party and bring it back from the left. that tactic did not work and they now see it. We have a lot of work to do to rebuild ...i 'm up for it. tones

Good on ya, tones. that's the spirit.

Congratulating Obama due to his race IS racism. You congratulate him as an individual. In fact, being happy that we now have a non-white president is ALSO racist.

Yep!!
I'm Clapping. There was no clappy smiley.

While it is in fact an historical thing that a black man has been elected president, I find Obama the wrong black man.

So, I can not in good conscience congradulate Barack Obama, nor his supporters for his victory. Sorry, but its how I feel.

Psh....

I almost wish McCain had won. So many people would be so pissed. There'd be riots. It'd be hysterical.

i believe Obama was "chosen" by the "powers that be" to make the "sheeple" feel like they have a say in their lives... illusion of "of the people, by the people"... but the same band plays on...

I am happy Obama won.

1. The psychological effect on Black Americans will be a positive one for decades.
2. His money came mostly from small donors
3. The alternative
4. There will be no war with Iran. Of this I am sure.

And with that, I say adios to the Ron Paul movement, I think I would rather be in my ignorant slumber than have to tolerate the racist bile and bigotry and hatred that has infested everything here, just for a few kernels of truth.

Number 2 is wrong.
Number one, is true. But a lot of them are really crazy.
Number 4, there will be one with Pakistan!

I was happy at first for our American underdogs that this barrier was finally broken, but then I saw who Obama picked for Chief of Staff.

Black people were used. All the more reason to not be bigoted against anyone but (most) politicians.

I am happy Obama won.

There's more than enough people on here to refute your reasons, but I'd like to focus on your percieved racism. Do you mean to tell me that race didn't play a large role in Obama's victory? The very fact that we were told that blacks were voting Obama because of their desire for a black president is very racist! In that case, I'll leave it up to you to ponder who is really racist.

Congratulations Obama!!!

Saying a win for a black man is being racist is not accurate. Racism, in practicality, has more to do with the oppression of a particular race. The fact that our country has had 43 white presidents is racist. The fact that our 44th president will be black is an alleviation of racist practice by our electorate. And yes that is something to be happy about.

Oh bull. Are you saying we should judge a person on the color of their skin, rather than their merits? Because that is what it sounds like.

Get Walter Williams to run for office and I will gladly vote for him.

No, he's saying that the power structure hasn't allowed black people to lead in our country in sufficient enough numbers to have any real representation until now. He is saying that judging a situation based on some racial factor is not neccessarily racist unless the statement brings out hatred or oppression of the particular race.

Individuals should strive not judge other individuals based on race, but it is ridiculous to assume that race is not a big issue as a whole in our society.

Its only an issue because democracy pits people against one another.

Thankfully not, his CFR wife with her 'Goat of Mendes' salute that the Knights Templar described as 'baphe+Metis'/Baphomet or "Baptism of Wisdom" is reaffirming to the cryptocracy that another of their 'enlightened' sock-puppets is at the helm once again.

She's just raising her hand :D
