Congratulations Obama!!!

Even if he isnt my guy I still want to congratulate him on his landslide victory. I think everyone should even if they dont agree with him or like him. The losing team should always show at least an ounce of respect to their competitors.

We are not at war with each other and we shouldnt be. He is right, and wrong on many things, but one thing he is Dead On about is that we should stand together.

So Gratz!!!

(like he will ever read this post, lol!)

I disagree. One, he got 52% of the vote. When you count non-voters, that's no mandate.

Two, we don't need to "come together". We need to act in our own self-interest and quit with the collectivism that's killing us. Three, Obama is nothing new, just more of the same, status quo bullshit. We will still have a violent state presiding over us.

The people lost last night.

Highly suspect that MSNBC choose THAT particular shot of ALL the shots they could have picked isn't it? I mean come on!

That is what I thought as well--all in plain sight.

What stood out the most for me in this election cycle was how the media was making a parody of the executive office, like Palin actually going on the SNL bash, much traction on how both candidates tell 'whoopers' and are not that different. Clinton and Bush have a done a fine job of making a mockery of the office as well. My take is that we will see more with Obama and all this will help facilitate the transition into a 'more responsible' regional union: North American Union.

Congratulations to the man behind the curtain on continuing his charade and controlling the minds of the American public while raping our constitution, sovereignty, and individual freedoms! Yes!!!!!

Congratulating Obama due to his race IS racism. You congratulate him as an individual. In fact, being happy that we now have a non-white president is ALSO racist.

This is not a game of football, it has nothing to do with "good sportsmanship".

This about one faction of the power elite wresting control from another faction.

In both cases, no appreciable difference will take place.

But those changes in the power structure will determine, for millions of people around the world, whether they live or die.

I will not stand with that, I will not recognize that, I will not absolve that, I will not stand with that. This government has long since lost my consent to govern me, regardless of who holds the reigns of power.

We most certainly are at war, you just don't realize it. There is no national unity to be had with fascists under the GOP or communists under the Democrats.

And no matter what happens, my lines in the sand remain, if I have to die alone as the last man standing, then so be it.

Well we are now 5 pages in. So no one expect the people that actually care will read this.

Now despite your negave comments towards my semi sarcastic not intended to be racial but probably was racial post...

Do you guys really honestly think that I would have voted for him because he is black? But, more importantly... We KNEW one of two possible outcomes was going to happen, regardless of this thread. McCain wins. /yay /fake OR Obama wins /yay /fake

/sarcasm

Do you also think that the battle for FREEDOM is done? We've lost? Call it quits? No more freedom. Ding Ding Were Done? They cheated and winned so lets just give up? Shit no. This thread is about as fake as the election itself. Agree with me or dont, I dont care, but let us not lose sight of our true goals. FREEDOM. We arent dead yet. Not by a long shot.

Saying a win for a black man is being racist is not accurate. Racism, in practicality, has more to do with the oppression of a particular race. The fact that our country has had 43 white presidents is racist. The fact that our 44th president will be black is an alleviation of racist practice by our electorate. And yes that is something to be happy about.

Wrong. Racism is judging someone based on the color of their skin as opposed to matters that are actually applicable to the situation. "Positive" racism is still racism.

Stick the race card in your ear. i called 4 GOP executive committees in florida this morning and reminded them that they ignored a large faction of the GOP...the Ron Paulers...and if they were smart..they would be reaching out to us. I got positive responses and agreements from most. They want us in...i am going in to help repair the party and bring it back from the left. that tactic did not work and they now see it. We have a lot of work to do to rebuild ...i 'm up for it. tones

I am happy Obama won.

1. The psychological effect on Black Americans will be a positive one for decades.
2. His money came mostly from small donors
3. The alternative
4. There will be no war with Iran. Of this I am sure.

And with that, I say adios to the Ron Paul movement, I think I would rather be in my ignorant slumber than have to tolerate the racist bile and bigotry and hatred that has infested everything here, just for a few kernels of truth.

OK have fun going back to sleep because most people here are too smart to support your socialist Mesiah.

Yes, there will be war with Iran. Obama has said that he will do EVERYTHING possible to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Meanwhile Iran is intent on obtaining one as soon as possible due precisely to threats like that.

If you think this is true, you need to listen to Ron Paul on AJ today.

Obama has spent over 2 Billion over many years. Money has been grooming his raise and this presidential run for a long time.

I kinda feel like a watcher of the Superbowl when I don't have a team in the hunt.

I am happier that McBailout was denied than if he had won. Not exactly the same as congratulations for Obailout, but close.

I'm also happy for the 'winning' supporters. Well-played, Barry & Co.

Policy-wise, it was lose-lose from the start, so really nothing to get happy about one way or the other there.
