Commission on Presidential Debates Considers Ditching 15% Rule for Third Party Candidates

Prediction...

If Rand wins the GOP nomination, they'll remove the 15% rule and set it somewhere that the LP can get a candidate in, but the Green party can't.

This is in response to Rand's candidacy, there is no doubt in my mind Rand will be a landslide victory over any Democrat, if he
stays the course.
People all over America have waken up and realize the Constitution has been crushed and is
the set of principles we desperately need to revive.

Now that we have a winning formula , they want to change the rules to dilute the the vote, it is a move
heavily slanted in support of Liberal candidates, as there is no such thing as a visible 3rd party called the Stalinist Dictators,
though that's what the liberal party actually is.

Agree. They will have a Libertarian in there to pull off some of the independent vote from Rand.

That's my thoughts exactly. They will only want to keep that 2 party monopoly as long as it serves "them". If the two party monopoly is somehow shattered by having one party go rogue, then the third party participation will be the "divide and conquer" strategy to keep the low-information voters having enough of a plurality for "them" to maintain control

Or a Perot type that will say whatever polling indicates would pull votes from the candidate the establishment doesn't want to win.

The establishment must really be scared if they're NOW deciding to look into changing this rule.

See what a pickle you've gotten yourselves into?

Something we've always wanted, something Ron complained about, is now happening.

But because you are running this strategy of lies and deception you want to shut the door in the face of the others like Nader who would likely run against Rand since in an ideal world the "Rand-like" candidate is exactly who needs this change.

This is how lying and slippery slopes work people. You've committed to this now everyone wants to maintain the status quo of evil (oh, but just till after primaries! pretty please!) because all of the sudden it benefits us.

This is how the Lord tests us. And typically we fail, as this thread makes evident.

jk :)

not
