Did anyone just see the Rep. graph showing Paul tied with Mcain at 13%? Why was Paul's color grey? Aren't the grey tones reserved for the lowest numbers?

it's people like you that make the rational % of us look like conspiracy kooks to the mainstream

I noticed this too. It seems they reserve the grey colors for those they dont want to stand out. It works as a psychological que, so to speak, and makes his importance seem diminished. I'm not surprised they do that.

I don't know. Psychology says that black is generally referenced to power and/or authority while white is usually thought of as pure and clean, so maybe gray means a combo?

I've never seen second place represented by grey. Show me any other second place candidate with grey. They have the dark red tones down to the neutral tones.

It's not a big deal, but it is a little shitty. Even my parents questioned Ron Paul being represented with grey in the pie chart. I guess my suspicion of the MSM is starting to rub off on them. :D

i would imagine that the colors started off with most red being who got the most the very first time they used the graph...at that point the colors were assigned by position in that first experience. They have since kept the colors associated to each candidate.

havnt actually looked for that, but thats what i assume is happening

I haven't checked either, but it would stand to reason that the dark red represent with candidate with the largest support, down to the lighter colors. The subliminal message is obvious.

I noticed that too - before seeing this thread - every psychological trick in the book - for shame CNN - for SHAME

I'm not sure who at CNN actually has the brain capacity to use subliminal messaging. Obviously they need to be promoted.
