CNN to release Iowa and New Hampshire polls at 4PM ET

Why would you put Romney on top?

Wasn't their last poll of Ron in Iowa favorable?

They could be trying to make it look like a collapse by doing a prior high one but this is within rating periods now.

Because CNN pushes Romney constantly and does everything it can to prevent a Newt crash. My prediction has nothing to do with how I actually think the field is, it's just how I imagine CNN WANTS the field to look like.

Hopefully they decide to turn accurate as other are, though.

Hmm last time i was optimistic i was right to be..

Im going

1- other 25%
2- romney 23%
3-perry / bach / grinch all over 10.

CNN is talking right now about Iowa. Apparently they haven't seen the PPP poll. They think Gingirch could still finish first there, even though his support is fading more and more everyday.

Heads up. Our best friends at CNN will be releasing IA and NH polls at 4PM ET today.

Will they be legitimate polls? That is the million dollar question. It appears that most of the stuff CNN has released in the past was dreamed up in their Board Room.

Iowa:

Other 22%
Romney 20%
Gingrich 17%

New Hampshire:

Romney 30%
Other 25%
Gingrich 17%

* Other = Dr. Paul

I'm afraid the CNN poll won't be as good as the PPP poll. I'll be happy just for Ron to be tied with Romney in the CNN poll.

In CNN's last set of polls, Gingrich got his highest number in Iowa and New Hampshire of any poll all cycle. I wouldn't be surprised to see him much stronger than in the PPP polling, narrowly ahead of Paul in New Hampshire, and a lot closer to the top but still in third in Iowa. Also, they conduct their polls over a week period, so this poll will stretch from like 12/20-12/27 or so, which might help Paul's numbers if they've been hurt by the media barrage this week.

Yeah, I looked at CNN's last set of polls, and they had Ron's support at the same level as PPP, but they had Romney and Gingrich much higher. So you'll probably see the same result with their new polls.

we will know in about 75 minutes if yesterday's PPP poll was a high flying fluke!
i think CNN's polls will show a decided drop by newt gingrich and mitt romney in
a steady state. ron paul might be closing the gap in N.H and holding onto Iowa.

If you haven't noticed, the MSM just led a massive slander campaign against Ron, and will probably be intent on showing it in the polls, that he has "lost some support."

But the polls are not showing that...

I agree, any result which shows Paul in second, or a drop percentage wise from other recent polls, will gives the MSM an opportunity to talk about the letters and its affect on Paul's campaign. The narrative will be that these attacks are damaging his campaign and it will be pumped loud and clear in an attempt to make it the reality.

That's the angle I foresee as well.

I bet it's true, but he's gained more than he lost, so technically they are not lying.

It's like when Perry said 1 million jobs were added in the time he was governor. That's true, but the population increased by 4.5 million over that span, so actually the job percentage decreased.

It's all about saying what you want people to hear.
