CNN/ORC Poll: Bush surges to 2016 GOP frontrunner

That really is amazing given that he hasn't exactly gotten great press from conservative media.

And the big problem is he is not like Rick Perry. Perry polled well early because people didn't realize how dumb he was. I watched a Hoover Institution interview last year and was very impressed with Jeb Bush. He is polished, well spoken, can raise a ton of money, and has really thought through the issues. He comes across as bright and studious. I think he would suck on the issues as President and I would not vote for him under any circumstances, but it is clear he is in the best position to win.

Rand really has to step his game up across the board. At this point Rand looks like a very good college athlete going against professional All-Stars. He needs to get serious and focused ASAP.

I may watch O'Reilly once a week or once every two weeks and yet every time I tuned in he led promoting a segment on the possibility of Jeb running. He has the highest rated news program on all of cable and this coverage is likely a signal to the red herd.

As far as the rest of the channel any other time I tune in it seems all I hear about is one of the Bushes - Bush Family or about Jeb Bush. It is an outright Bush love fest on that channel and this is the highest rated news channel thus the channel the red herd watches.

Looking back it sure looks like this was a planned build up for Jeb running.

Cthlululu vs Darth Vader vs Riddick vs Satan. Pick your flavor of evil you mother fucking worthless mundanes and embrace the Illusion of Democracy.

Evil will always win, not because Good is Dumb, but because people are being offered the choice between what is Good and what is Easy. And Evil is Easy. You simply have to do Nothing.

I really hope this election cycle can finally convince everyone that nobody is coming to save us. The system is rigged from the inside and cannot be changed. 5000 years of authoritative nonsense is all the proof we need.

Time magazine, which has done some nice reporting on Rand including a cover story recently, also had a full page picture and writeup about Jeb. They also had the same on Clinton. Is Don King promoting this fight?

sons of bitches the news media is! fuck what they claim as #1. weve saw this shit before, so fuck their damn polls. rand will have to make it obvious how this all really works to stand a chance against the "machine". bush is surging they say? well bullshit.

Frontrunners are declare.

Without a single vote cast.

So much for early polls:

Rand gets more favorable coverage from Chris Matthews and Lawrence O'Donnell and most of MSNBC/CNN than he does from almost anyone on Fox News.

Phuck FOX.

Jeb's last name is Bush hopefully even some of the most stupid know that it means more mayhem. I think Rand ought to run independent and see what happens he has just as good a chance and maybe better than trying to run a republican campaign.
I think Rand, if he loses the primary, should step back and let Ron run 3rd party. Don't even endorse him. Hell, Rand could even distance himself from his father and cautiously endorse whatever loser the GOP would put forward.

It would just be great to watch Ron come home with 5-7% of the vote and cut the knees out from under these Neo Con liars, telling them they either play ball with us or we will do everything we can to knock them off their horse. They constantly play dirty tricks with us. It's time we give them a taste of their own medicine.

This may not have worked in 2012 because many liberty minded people like myself wanted Obama gone so bad, we held our noses and voted for Romney. But if it's Hillary vs. Jeb... seriously what's the difference? It would literally make zero difference which of those to liberal Neo Cons wins in terms of actual policy. I'd rather see Hillary win and we send a message to the Neo Cons than the Neo Cons win and continue to run roughshod on the country and destroy the Conservative movement/GOP for another 15 years.

FROM THE POLL:
"Among the entire sample, 28% described themselves as Democrats, 22% described themselves as Republicans, and 50% described themselves as Independents or members of another party"
They polled people who are not likely Republican voters in the early states..... in other words, they are asking the opinions of people who DON'T MATTER!

The primary questions were asked of likely GOP primary voters. So it gives you a feel of the national temperature. We shall see about the early states though.

How is this poll even possible? No republican I know has ever even heard of the guy. I don't know a single thing favoring him aside from having the Florida vote.

Well-spoken two-term governor of a huge state and sibling of the most recent Republican President. Extensive media coverage. Seems to me it would be unlikely to have not heard of him.

The MSM wants Jeb and it will be Jeb.

Don't be a defeatist, otherwise we WILL lose.

We damn near won Iowa last time, and I can assure you that Rand is better at campaigning than Ron ever was. We have a serious chance this time around, and we are getting better at it. Jeb is rusty.

Time magazine, which has done some nice reporting on Rand including a cover story recently, also had a full page picture and writeup about Jeb. They also had the same on Clinton. Is Don King promoting this fight?
Dunno about that, but I can assure you that Jeb's PR apparatus is in full swing.

Likely intentionally polled in that manner to sway the herd in the early the states to achieve the same result in the next poll of those whom do matter.

No, it did not restrict the poll to likely Republican primary/caucus voters. Just because someone is a Republican or leans that way, doesn't mean they are likely to vote in the upcoming Republican primary / caucus.

That is either because the pollster was ignorant, or they were aiming for a specific result.

It will never ever happen.

And yes it will hurt Rand because he will have to distance himself even further.

No one serious takes O'Reilly seriously.

Something has to be done to stop the impending train of low-info team red morons flocking to (*EDIT being programmed to flock to*)another loser. Something has to be done to counter the dirty tricks and disgusting lies they spread to impressionable idiots. The 10 million plus nursing home crowd that watches OReilly and listens to Mark Levin shows up on primary day.
