CNN: Obama raises $3 million in 24 hours...

Actually, I'm pretty sure they only write out donations of over 200 dollars.

No the rules state that if an individual donates over $200 in a quarter, then they file them and not if its over $200 per donation. If that were the case only one of my donations would be showing up instead of four.

If that number is the sum of donations that are on the FEC site, it's very, very wrong.

I've donated three times and not a single one shows up there.

Same here. I gave three times and none of them shows up, but somehow my wife's donation does.

Do you think someone in the campaign is skimming off the top? Or stashing it away for a independent run? haha

It's simple. I saw a statistic that Obama gets 43% of the tv news coverage, McCain gets 16%, Ron Paul gets 0.2%.

Obama had Oprah do a rally for him. ( why do you think Dr. Phil became so popular )

What Obama ( and even McCain ) does is appeal to emotion rather than intellect. They do the same thing as a horoscope or fortune teller. They say things in general enough terms that the listener fills in the specifics that suit what they are looking for. Voila! the perfect candidate.

I saw something similar go on at the Republican debates. When they answer a question, they take so long your eyes glaze over and you just focus on key words and mentally fill in the blanks. But if you actually parse what they are really saying, 9 times out of 10 it makes no sense at all.

Sources please.

And, because it seems to indicate that the chances of Obama winning the Democratic Nomination are increasing, it's a good thing.

Don't be fooled by a wolf in sheeps clothing. Obama will be just as bad for this country as Hillary or any other neoconservative in this race who are backed by the CFR.

And considering Obama has the backing of about 25% of the American sheeple, and we've only got about 5%, that's really not that impressive. ;)

The stupid sheeple that will vote for this communist need to move to cuba and see if they think this country should be run in that fashion. Here we have an example of how a real billionaire can sway the voters and capture a nation. If the revolution ever begins in earnest remember O, she needs to be stripped of her massive wealth that is now being used to mold the country to communism. To any black voter that will vote for Obama, you are putting yourself and everyone else into slavery and have taken 10 steps backwards.

He says plenty. I would offer that perhaps you should turn off Rush and listen to him.

Well, he's a democrat, and he hasn't really pissed me off yet, so I'd attribute that to a lack of policy specifics in his typical stump speech.

Hillary is the devil.

That Obama is better with sheeples is not a detriment. I've read his book and I follow his line of reasoning well... I disagree with many things that he's done and said, but no where near the nightmare in my mind that is a McClinton Von Romknuckle presidency. Obama is not dumb, of that, I promise anyone. He is not stupid, and he believes in many of the things we libertarians do, that he must bow down to sheeples to get them passed is a + mark if he can beat the encroaching tyranny.

I've researched as much as I possibly could about Obama's involvement with the Council of Foreign Relations, and it appears to me that he is involved with the Darfur genocide aspect of the organization. I admire you Charles, more than many here, but don't feed the fodder with conspiracy theories and world government ideas. Obama believes strongly in American's sovereignty and military prowess.

Oh, Obama could be bad, no doubt. We just don't know yet.

However, those of us who were paying close attention between 1992-2000 know full well that Hillary is the devil.

Hillary isn't a neoconservative. Hillary is a Stalinist.

Krystal and Podhoretz might be very, very bad for the Republican party, but I don't recall them ever saying anything like "I want to take things away from you for the common good." She's a Dictatorial Socialist.

Oh, I'm just saying I was paying attention from 1992-2000 and Hillary is the devil.

Obama has not proven to be anywhere near as bad as Hillary.

I watched the 2004 elections without thinking that Kerry was terrible.

I'm a Republican, so I'm not voting for Obama, but if Ron Paul goes 3d party,
I'd support Ron Paul, provided Obama is the nominee. If Hillary is the nominee, I'm supporting the Republican nominee, whoever that is.

Obama wants to take money from hard working people and give it to people to lazy to do anything for themselves. Fark that. He's another welfare loving no good politician.

With the exception that HE'S A BIG, BIG, BIG SPENDER! He wants to INCREASE spending by 287 BILLION/year! Even Hillary only wants an increase of about 208 Billion.

Yeah, I like him better than Hillary personally, but damn, what is the deal with the spending? Wealth redristribution in the form of more welfare programs?

He needs a new economic advisor.

Obama winning for us is NOT a good thing. He's taking away the youth and yuppie vote. Those are OURS.

What actually worries the most is that Obama could win the popular elections (primaries votes), win the most states (done deal), win the most delegates and yet LOSE to Hillary due to the 700 super delegates in her pocket.

When that happens, watch out for riots and litteral blood in the streets.

It's sad that so many young people and old people alike have been hypontized by this guys speechs that basically say nothing.

OMG, this is what I tell everybody!!! I simply ask him what are his positions on economics and solving the poverty and growth of jobs?

They have no clue! WOW!

We will continue to graze if we praise every raise in this phase or gaze at every phrase in daze. Instead we should raze their haze and craze by different ways from our surveys.
