yawnnn......

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

Of course, no mention of the undisputed one day record holder.

Well, considering that he has been getting an average of 1 million per day, I would say that is nothing to sneeze at.

Of course, this just means he is being bought and paid for before he has even been nominated. Considering that he made the list of most corrupt politicians last year, it isn't really that surprising.

People are reporting that he raised over 6 million in one day.

Not sure if its true or not.

It's sad that so many young people and old people alike have been hypontized by this guys speechs that basically say nothing.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Ron never did raise 6 million in a day, heck he never got to 4. This is from his own FEC report filing which you can look at how the days came out here. http://query.nictusa.com/pres/2007/YE/C00432914/A_DATE_C00432914.html

His report says the day he raised the most money was on December 16, 2007 which he raised $3,392,100.98

If that number is the sum of donations that are on the FEC site, it's very, very wrong.

I've donated three times and not a single one shows up there.

He says plenty. I would offer that perhaps you should turn off Rush and listen to him.

That doesnt say in 1 day though, just says since super tuesday.

Yea, his one day mark looks to be around 4 million, depending on the number, it could be bigger than Paul's...If I'm not mistaken the man only pulled in 3 million and change on the day he supposedly brought in 6 million... but correct me if I'm wrong.

How many of those donors are traitorous soft Ron Paul supporters, I wonder?

It's simple. I saw a statistic that Obama gets 43% of the tv news coverage, McCain gets 16%, Ron Paul gets 0.2%.

Obama had Oprah do a rally for him. ( why do you think Dr. Phil became so popular )

What Obama ( and even McCain ) does is appeal to emotion rather than intellect. They do the same thing as a horoscope or fortune teller. They say things in general enough terms that the listener fills in the specifics that suit what they are looking for. Voila! the perfect candidate.

I saw something similar go on at the Republican debates. When they answer a question, they take so long your eyes glaze over and you just focus on key words and mentally fill in the blanks. But if you actually parse what they are really saying, 9 times out of 10 it makes no sense at all.

I always thought there was something funny going on with the money.

Total raised 28.1 mil
Total spent 20.3 mil
left over 7.8
