FTR, Cheney changed his registration and residency to WY from TX only a shortwhile before the election. And people made a stink about it but it was found to be legal.

I really hope the average viewer watching understands she is completely biased Jeb Bush supporter and likely hoping to be his press secretary. She speaks favorably of Rubio since he has no chance of winning the nomination and to help get his name out there for fundraising since he is expected to be his former mentors VP pick (Jeb).

Rubio can't be VP of Jeb , both are from Florida. Perino is 100% Bush, 100% of the time.

There is no law or regulation preventing a ticket from coming from the same state. It would get a little tricky with the electoral college in a very close election for nominating the VP. If that happened then congress would have to deal with the VP pick. That is if it really got that far without Jeb simply registering to vote in Texas before the election. Considering we overlook things like birth certificates I doubt this would be any issue.

Beautiful; maybe it could be an amendment to the new "Freedom" Act. Maybe there could be a quota of sorts and if enough people volunteer they won't need to collect data on anyone else. I know tons of people who say they don't care if they are spied on, so I think there would be no problem meeting that quota.

There is nothing (Constitutionally) preventing both candidates on the ticket to be from the same state. In modern presidential politics, it doesn't make sense politically, and if they were to win the popular vote in the state, it means they would have to do a workaround at the Electoral College to be able to get those votes.

They will do it for the Hispanic vote. Rubio has the name recognition, the fund raising, is close with Jeb his former mentor and a full blown Neocon which is exactly what they want. What's really disturbing is the lack of any historical understanding in this. Some of the most vile regimes that ever existed used phone taps and listening devices to find dissenters and instill a general state of fear among the populace. North Korea does this kind of thing. Supporters should have to live in environment like that to get some semblance of a clue. Want to be surveilled 24/7 and walk on eggshells every minute of every day; move to North Korea.
