Christmas No 1 for Golden State Bombs (End This War, Ron Paul Song)

Here is the Official Ron Paul iTunes Bomb Facebook Page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ron-Paul-iTunes-Bomb/266434556741945

As of yet, I still need to get a hold of RevPAC or Adam T about the proceeds (if you've got the connections, let me know). But take a look at the Facebook page and let me know your thoughts (and if anything needs to be adjusted).

Feel free to start sharing the link. A website will be up on Monday-- link to come.

I see Golden State "Bombs". Is that what the official title is?

It might be better if the name of your band, for this song at least, was "Ron Paul (something)" And the name of the song was "Tea Party Money Bomb 12/16"

And the entire reason why we would push the song up the charts is because we want people to see "Ron Paul" and "Tea Party Money Bomb".

Now, you're a good band, with good credentials, and your song is good. And I'm in favor of this project. So this isn't me expressing opposition to this.

I'm just saying that for Ron Paul, the value is in seeing the advertising there, and not the money raised.

You had (Ron Paul Song) there before.

It apparently has Revolution now?

I would stick to Ron Paul in the title. It really has much more value in that way than in any other way.

Revolution Pac, Bombs for the Revolution, etc etc, does not necessarily make people think Ron Paul.

'Bombs (The Ron Paul Song)'

I believe that's the working title.

Would like Ron Paul to be in the title.

If Ron Paul is not in the title, random people looking at the charts would not necessarily know that "Golden State" and "Bombs" has anything to do with Ron Paul.

The general idea of hyping a song up the charts is something I'm in favor of.

And the band is good, the song is good, the video is good.

I'd like more songs. With perfect titles. They could be any bands instrumentals.

"Vote Ron Paul Iowa January 3" is a great name for an instrumental that already exists somewhere. Or a new song.

It really shouldn't be too hard to get these songs on the charts. This one, and lots of em.

More songs with "Ron Paul" in the title.

You can just change the name of those 2 songs if you want to something like "Ron Paul Tea Party Money Bomb 12/16"

Nothing but that song title would then matter.

We would want to pay money to get our message out.

That would be the point. And I think it should, in theory, work.

It's already in the title: "The Ron Paul Song" and the music video is littered with tons of Paul footage

It's perfect.. any more is just overkill.

If (The Ron Paul Song) is in the title, on Itunes, I agree.

The video is good, others might be right about it "needing" to be changed. I have no comment on that except that it's a good video, and a good song, and a good band.

And if the name of the song on Itunes is Bombs (The Ron Paul Song), I'm 100% for this.

I'm in. I don't do itunes, but I'll get someone else to buy it for me. Then they're forced to listen to it LMAO! I might do that with a few of my friends :)

I think we could really crush it with this song, and other songs. If there was some way that the money coming in to the band can go out again, buying the "next" song, song after Ron Paul song could be sitting on the charts. And when people notice that, they'll participate. They might not even care all that much about Ron Paul. They might just think it's fun, or funny, to have the itunes charts filled with Ron Paul Songs, when before it was mostly American Idol contestants and Christmas music. As a call to action "spend 99 cents and get Ron Paul on the itunes chart" is pretty compelling. It could become a "thing", fitting somewhere between the spamming of the internet polls and the moneybomb.

Instead of spamming an internet poll, it's spamming the itunes charts. Instead of a medium or high dollar moneybomb, it's a very low dollar moneybomb.

They had two videos on YouTube. The first one had a audio error and a second video with fix was posted. They have now on purpose made the first one private to prevent two videos being clicked so that the second one gets viral status. Here's the link to the second one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE30TH6Y7cI

Awesome. :) Great work guys, this'll be awesome. Can't wait! Lets get people liking that Facebook page now!!

Now this might seem like a long shot, but how about getting the video on the air? The song is incredible, but that music video is very moving. We would get a lot of attention, for both Golden State and Ron Paul. It has appeal to everyone.

It's possible if you have the money. Rive video promotions. they'll at least tell you what's up.

I know those guys. The were just on MTVU last week, and they used Rive to get on there.

Try to get the same deal for Garden State. We'd win. I mean, an online contest to win. We'd win.

What the campaign should do from here on forward is anywhere Ron is going to speak have someone setup a projection and have the YouTube video shown on a screen prior to Ron Paul speaking. This should be done at ALL speaking engagements throughout the country.
