Chris Christie attacks libertarians

Number of terror attacks in the US in the first half of 2012 - 0.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents,_January–June_2012

Number of paramilitary SWAT raids in that same period in the US - 20,000.

In fact, the number of terror attacks for the entire world for that period is maybe 60 or 70.
Careful there, AF. They look at those same statistics and think to themselves, "See? These SWAT raids are working! If we increase them all over the world, we could get terrorist attacks done to nothing world wide!"

I would reckon that less than one half of one percent of those SWAT raids had even the slightest connection to "terrorism".

Of course, you're right, that's how they would think.

Most people hate freedom and do not want it.

i think hillary is coordinating with neocons behind the scene to throw out disposable neocon chess pieces at rand paul right now because his poll has been surging to fast.

they are hoping to at least dampen the slope of increase, because if hillary jumps into the fray now she's finished.. she won't last a day taking on these controversial issues and exposing herself, rather than just relying on her image and femininity left over from the boomer lil-internet 90s

Rand needs an aggressive 'America First' style campaign if he runs for president in my opinion. No more mass immigration, lock down the borders, no more foreign aid, no more wars for Israel (without explicitly stating that's what they are.) The left has been relentlessly harping on the meme that the GOP is the party of white people and that therefore it's evil, hoping that will get us to embrace mass immigration and multiculturalism even further. I.M.O. Rand needs to embrace that accusation rather than run away from it as they want us to and say yes, I do care about the majority population 'everyday Americans' who are still around 70 percent of the country without explicitly naming race. It will resonate with a lot of people, seriously I think it's brewing under the surface. They say we're evil haters but really we just love our heritage and the culture of freedom that America once had. It is they who are promoting genocide, we just want the right to live.

Liberty is “A Very Dangerous Thought” to the USSA’s Pols
http://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/liberty-is-a-very-dangerous-thought-to-the-ussas-pols/

...Anyway, Mr. Flab’s comments show yet again why politicians are the enemy of mankind: “‘…I just want us to be really cautious, because this strain of libertarianism that’s going through both parties right now and making big headlines, I think, is a very dangerous thought…”

Hmm. Mr. Flab must have excellent eyes, far better than mine, because I sure as heck don’t see any libertarianism in either party. Yo, Flab: feebly pushing back against horrific totalitarianism, official murder and theft, espionage against taxpayers and endless lies is not libertarianism, OK? It’s just common decency, though a very weak strain of it.

I assume the WaPo considers the “hard” part the fact that Mr. Flab challenged “libertarians” to ”come to New Jersey and sit across from the widows and the orphans [from 9/11] and have that conversation.” Do you suppose a century from now, politicians will still exploit 9/11? And boy, Flab, if you think “libertarians” quail from telling “widows and orphans” whose husbands and parents died on 9/11 that freedom is far more essential to human happiness than safety, well, I’d like to see you come clean with those same widows and orphans and tell them that the terrorists who killed their loved ones hailed from the government of the good ole USSA.

Flab added, “I’m very nervous about the direction this is moving in.” That’s because, in addition to all his other sterling qualities, he’s a craven wimp. (Thanks to Jay Stephenson for the link.)

Christie, Paul highlight GOP debate over security
The Associated Press - By KEN THOMAS

Share on email WASHINGTON (AP) — A rift over national security is developing in the early stages of the Republican Party's next presidential campaign, putting libertarians at odds with hawks who cite the 2001 terrorist attacks.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is warning that a growing libertarian streak among both parties is dangerous. He points to the widows and orphans of his home state who were affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky tweeted Friday that he worries about the dangers of losing freedom, while Christie worries about the dangers of freedom. For Republicans, the national security debate offers a window into a changing party that re-elected President George W. Bush nearly a decade ago after he took tough steps to fight terrorism.

We need a special graphic on the top of the forum for 'Rand Paul Best Day Ever'...which has been like every day lately....

Eric Bolling just said "Chris Christie, you lost a fan" and sided with Rand. I think Rand has shown how you can win over even hard-core neocons like Bolling.

Dana Perino got exposed as the Bush hack she is. Said Rand would be dangerous because he's more isolationist and that we should still be in Iraq and Afghanistan for the long haul and the 4 others just said they disagreed (Andrea and Bob went off on her) and Dana got all pissed off. What a moment.

I am sure Rand can make Christy reget the day he tries to tangle with him. Christy may believe the crap he is spouting but Rand will eat him alive.

Also we can count on people's hatred of fat people who truely are the most discriminated against in this country. Please enough of the fat jokes they are not very becoming of people who claim to love liberty and want to let people live their own lives. Christy will never make it past the people who judge on looks alone and we all know this.
