Carl Cameron has announced that Ron Paul has qualified for the RNC ballot (video added)

Carl: "Since he is popular with young voters, and Romney and the GOP..... (ummmm) .... like that.... (gulp)" (too funny)

Brett: "And he is still racking up more delegates." - "and Romney and the GOP..... (ummmm) .... like that.... (gulp)"

Since all the Massachusettes delegates are Paul supporters, can they still count as one of the 5 states to nominate him? I know that they are bound on the first ballot to vote for Romney but are they bound in other ways?

Try this:

Yea, I had the link to the original video in the description of the shortened version. Interestingly though, it wasn't this video I got the warning/ban on...it was one I just uploaded with all original content. Music, quotes, etc., were original in the video...and all it had was text quotes of Mitt Romney, President Obama, and Ron Paul...that's it.

Dang...and I had just posted a thread about this on another forum. I went back and used the Fox link. Can that be loaded onto You Tube? The Fox link will not last.

I have the full Fox video downloaded, but didn't want people to sit through 2.5 minutes of footage, when it could be shown in 20 seconds.

Seems like clear DMCA abuse - there's a perfectly valid fair use defense here.

The cronies at Fox are now fighting with every tool they have to stop Dr. Paul. In a way, this is good news (they're afraid), but they know we depend on YouTube to get the word out, sidestepping the government/media control complex. First ronpaul2008dotcom, now this, and I bet there are others.

Somebody who has the time should really make a list, write a story, and get some alternate or mainstream-opposition media attention on this (e.g. MSNBC would love to give Fox a black eye). Too bad Google probably values some of their business deals with NewsCorp over fair use on YouTube.

Keep re-editing and re-posting the snippit.

That 20 seconds from FOX news along with Karl Rove's piece from today are the nails in the coffin for Romney, and Fox Damn Well Knows It!

Get that video out there, the 20 seconds, I don't have the software but some of you do.

Make it so.

I would agree, IF this was the video that the account was banned for, but it wasn't. Supposedly they banned my account for a video that had no copyrighted material in it...

Do you have any rights to appeal, or is YouTube more like a dictator that way?

Their appeals process seems gets you auto-generated responses. They have no chat support team that I'm aware of, no phone number to call, no direct email for consumers/customers.
Just generic "Fill in the blank" forms, and wait on the auto-generated response...that will redirect you to another "Fill in the blank" form.

Here's the exact email I received:

They terminate your account, but can't tell you why they terminated your account? The video contained no copyrighted song, no inappropriate tags, and no inappropriate description according to their own guidelines/policies...
I have no idea, the only thing is that is was possibly the Fox News clip they were trying to flag, and I was uploading my new video at the same time, so they flagged the "newest" video and terminated the account based on that? Perhaps they didn't think I was uploading one at that moment or something?
There is absolutely no mention of the other video though, in any email...

I'm posting it ALL over the Drudge "Mitt finds a path to victory" article.

LOL

Here it is, now on my Vimeo account:

I think Vimeo is even stricter about the "original content" thing (or they used to be a few years ago), so don't be surprised if it is removed from Vimeo. Any broadcast material use to be removed by Vimeo without fail. But I have not looked into Vimeo in a few years, so maybe that has changed.

Anyway, if it gets pulled, don't be surprised.
