Canvassing SC - 30% say "I would vote for RP if he could win"

we need to put out a national ad that tell WHY the media is not covering Ron. It needs to say that Ron does not take lobbyist money and the media is corporate controlled therefore, then covering him is not in line with their interests...

Should we "feed the beast" by giving huge amounts of advertising/promotional dollars to the media ? For every ad we place... big media laughs as the money lands in their bank accounts.

Ron Paul seriously needs a campaign bus with a wavy banner on back reads "Peace and Prosperity" Grass Roots needs 3 campaign buses with wavy banners on back that read "We The People" Can you see this ? Can you see the grass roots bus pull into town a day before the HQ bus and set up in a mall parking lot, unfold a awning and set up a few kiosks. Keep the cargo bays packed with flyers stickers and signs. Equip all buses with Motosat portable internet gear, have a room on board for meetings and training. Use local faces to staff the kiosks.

Rosa Parks was born on February 4th... quietly dedicate the new buses in her honor... unviel the buses on February 4th. Lots of room here for some free PR via photos from local papers.

I'm canvassing my precinct this weekend. I'm going to make sure I do my best to convince everyone on the fence that he CAN win.

"Seriously--how badly are people brainwashed by MSM? Literally 30% or more of the people I am canvassing are saying that they love RP's platform, believe in him and his policies, and prefer him for President over all the others. They all say they would vote for RP if he could win. The irony, of course, is that if everyone who said that, voted for RP--he would win by a landslide."

Simple solution. Explain to them that that is the beauty of the primaries. By voting for the guy who's positions you believe in, you are getting both his and YOUR point across. If that position is the most popular and he gets nominated, then you have the guy you want running. If he doesn't, at least your vote helped get the ultimate nominee thinking about what the other people had to say (and, hopefully, incorporated into his platform). Writing YOUR candidate off early as "unelectable" is the worst thing you can do.... because it creates the impression that his platform should be dismissed. Not voting your principles early is sending the WRONG principles forward.
