Jay Leno is back at work and that means that politicians are lining up to be called scabs by crossing the picket line and appearing on his show. Mike Huckabee appeared with Jay right before his monster win in Iowa. Now GOP long shot candidate Ron Paul is making his second appearance on Leno. Can it help his campaign as it did Huckabee's? Paul certainly needs a boost.

Face time is face time. Plus, Ron did fantastic on the Tonight Show the last time around. This can only help.

Ron needs 2 or three 3 bullet point statements that will shape NH voter logic to the undeniable conclusion that John McCain is a deranged neocon with a serious liberal streak. Before McCain I didn't know such a beast was possible.

It's a great opportunity to introduce Leno's audience to McCain's plan for 1,000,000 years of war.

Why the freakin heck do they keep calling him a "long shot candidate"????

Because he is. This whole campaign is a long shot. That's why we have to work so god damn hard to get every vote we can.

But I think you already know why the media continually goes out of their way to refer to him as that...

All I know is that this is his last chance for an appearance before NH. He has GOT TO take advantage of this in every way. Expose Fox, Frank, be specific! And even though it's late night, I'm hoping for some serious points and a bit of anger, not just joking around you know?

For example, instead of laughing about how everyone would love to get rid of the income tax, be specific and say that each person will have more money in his/her pocket and that this is a realistic goal that he is determined to make happen.

I have read here on the forum that Dr. Paul made a deal with the WGA that okayed his appearance on the show... just wondering if there was any official news of that from somewhere?
